It is a better decision to call and ask CIC about status of application rather than to keep your finger crossed.

Hi Gkriss,
CIC are working in a very strange way as there is no thumb rule of when your cc or dd will be charged.
Wait for another week or two and check again with your bank hopefully u'll get some good news.

Would you let me know that what is the normal DD encashment time? My payment is through DD.

I have a matter of concern. I am an 16th oct applicant but still there are no signs of DD encashment or PER. Nd m thoroughly worried about the validation of the dd. In my opinion standard SBI dd is valid for 3 months.

Seniors please guide.

if theres no validity date written on DD then DD is valid for 6 months

Actually and October 17th applicant has received their PER and there were a few other from other dates (as per SS).
