Hi friends,

I am in the process of collecting documents and filling forms. I intend to send my application by 15th October, 2014. NOC code 0112.

Do you think I have a chance?

Of course we all have a chance, be positive always!

I've taken advice from at least 4 members, including VIP Members, and they all said that plain photocopies are required for any document that is in English or French. Only translated documents are required to be notarised.

A very good informative website also has the same thing to say.

Good luck with the application.

I agree with you and the link provided by you is very helpful too.. but still I am confused. My friend who got PR has notarized all docs. This is just as FYI.

hello everyone, I am new here. My application is received at CIO on 21st of october and my NOC code is 2131.
Does anybody have any estimate about the situation of Cap of this NOC? Thnx alot and good luck to all.

It will be clear once CIC updates the caps. Applicants till October end should be in the cap for NOC 2131 as per earlier observation. However, we are into the fourth week since no cap updates. Lets be positive and see how it goes further.

I see that there is new Doc Check list of Oct 2014 but I do not see any changes in that compare to previous ones.

I mean people might get scared that now new Check list is available but does anybody find any change in the PDF or its just month updated ?

Moreover, regarding Schedule 3, under question 12 for Work Experience they have now updated the years in full year...
e.g. 1 year, 2 to 3 year, 4 to 5 years... so in this case what about if someone is having between 1 to 2 years, 3 to 4 or 5 to 6... since if someone has 3 years 10 months then what should he/she select ?

Rules say that visa officer will ask for originals once the file is transferred to our selected visa office. So a copy suffices. Just trying to explain the reasoning.

People still tend to give notarised copies to feel safer. However, going by book, copies r sufficient.

Cheers

I have doubts!

I went through the photocopies of my application yesterday and i saw both the original and photocopy of my experience letter for my first job (2004-2007)! but the original Job Description is with me, which means that the photocopy of the job description was sent but without the experience letter. Will that make any issue?

My experience letter from 2008-present was sent anyway.

Please advise seniors!

If your job description letter is as per CIC requirement than you shall be fine. However, if your experience letter was required to further support your JD letter than there might be a problem. I mean some guys sent the experience letter(HR) to show there employement periods, salaries, full time status etc along with JD's that only have there job discription without any other details. If your current job (2008-present) points are enough to get you 67 points than you dont need to worry at all, provided your current job fulfill the requirements of the NOC which you applied. Good luck.

From 2008 for a year i've been working as HR Assistant, then 2009 to 2013 as Sr. Personnel Officer, then 2013 till present as Administrator HR, how much points i can be awarded for that? The JD's are matching with the NOC.

Thank you for your inputs :)
