There's a 31st Oct applicant who claims that their application was rejected because IMM5406 was missing. Application came back today. I'm currently in Canada, so should I feel a bit relieved that I have not seen mine returned?

NOC 1212 October 3rd DD applicant. Any idea when I might be charged? Mid January or later?

Should be anytime soon...within the month hopefully!

1st Oct applicant checked with the bank (noc 2172) and was informed DD encashed on 17th Dec..

Hi all,

Urgent guidance required...

I had applied on 2nd October, through a consultancy firm in Canada.

My payment is also routed through consultant's credit card.

Looking at current trends, I believe 2nd October applicants have been charged.

Consultants are saying they cannot and will not be able to trace charging for my application as there is no file number attached to charging transaction.

I am desperate to know whether my application has reached CIC and also, whether its complete as per CIC norms.

Myself or my consultant have heard nothing from CIC since I have applied.

Can any one guide how can I know status of my application?

I tried to ask CIC call centre but they refused to provide any info.

Is there any other way.?

Congratulations DesiDreamz on your cc charge, this means you file was complete and has passed completeness check.

It will now be assessed on basis your eligibility points and NOC duties and responsibilities. Once you have passed that, you will receive PER email (Positive Eligibility Review) which might take 7 days to 90 days from the app receive date.

Looking at the current trend, this time frame cannot be judged or confirmed. So sit back and relax and enjoy the good news of your CC charge.

I got my PER on 17th December from CIC. Is now my document will forward to NVDO for further processing? When will I get contact from NVDO?
