in case of rejection the file will take around 2-3 months to reach India according to the agencies.
But in my Personal experience my first file which received rejection and had been sent back in September has not yet reached till date.
And dont lose hope sometimes DD encashment never gives any notifications.
Sometimes they cant track it so wait for another 10 days.
Or you can send a case specific enquiry email to check your application status.
I sent a case specific enquiry to get to know the status of my first application and they replied me in 40 days.

Thank you optimistic candi,
I should send an email or call them repeatedly for a UCI number. I called a couple of days ago but the agent said he cannot give any information about a file sent to Nova Scotia, It was a very strange call. While others here in the forum could sometimes get their UCI number calling on the same number.

Fingers crossed now!!

Guys Congrats to all the October Applicants who have received the PER.

Hope I should get it by end Jan or Feb First Week. :D :D :D :D

Hello All !!

Want to share that I received my PER on 14th Jan.

This forum has been very helpful, and so will it be till the time we all land in Canada..

Currently my ECAS stats is "We received your application on .."

Just wanted to ask, what is the next line update in ECAS..? and approximately how long should I wait for that..?
Congrats on your PER. Next line will be "We started processing your application on....", this line is usually updated after 45-60 days from your PER and before MR. Have a blessed day :)

Any Applicant whose DD got encashed between 22nd to 29th Dec and has got PER .. I am a 14th oct applicant and DD encashed on 29th dec (according to the bank) but still awaiting PER :(

ECAS status shows In process 'we received your application on 14th October'

In PER email it says that "Your application has now been placed into processing" but when I check from online tracking website it says "We received your application for permanent residence on October 10, 2014." . Is this normal or the CIC website should also say in process ?

Yes it is normal :)

Hi Everyone!!

I hear that prior to the MR the CIC may request for the PCC and would give only 30 days to submit the same. I am at the moment awaiting the MR. However, I did not submit my FBI certificate along with the application as I did not receive the certificate at the time of my application.

I received my FBI certificate dated November 10th 2014. My application to the CIC was received on October 2nd 2014.

MY QUESTION: SHOULD I APPLY FOR A NEW FBI CERTIFICATION OR WILL THE ONE I ALREADY HAVE IS SUFFICIENT?

Thanks!!

EAGERLY WAITING FOR PER. >:( >:( >:(

FEELING PAIN IN FINGERS.... AS THEY ARE CROSSED FOR A LONG TIME......

Dear Members,
I need an advice. I have recieved PER and now awaiting MR and PCC. My passport was issued in 2011 and it has my permanent address of Kochi. I am living in Bangalore since 2006. My doubt is do I have to request a PCC from Kochi and will there be a check done at my Bangalore address too or Vice Versa.

Thanks in advance!

usually PCC in India is given for entire country. Not placewise or statewise. I think Tata consultancy does that service in India

I stayed in kerala, Tamil nadu and Karnataka before getting my pcc in 2012. I took my pcc from kerala. Tata consultancy provided that service. I hope that is the name. But they are doing that service for the government
