There is no need to travel as of now . It is better to u stay where u r . It is 100% confirmed that a spouse of permanent resident can enter canada and they also do the landing procedure. I have confirmed it myself on the call with cbsa only after it was confirmed by a immigration lawyer with whom i have consulted. But the thing is one need to be alive in order to spend his/her life with their spouse.

Information to everyone on this page. My wife came today on 20 march to Toronto. There is no issue on landing. They just ask photo of PR card or Canadian passport of sponsored Pearson.
