Sammann :; As per past records of ND , Interview letter usually comes from 9th to 11th month from initial Date of Receipt at Sydney. Looks like you have passed that "Lion country" Even if we are 100% Genuine cases interview is really scary but here we are 100s of members to guide you. If you guys are honest nothing to be scared from. If applicant has a long history of travel, that could be a reason of delay as security checks will be done from all those countries. I read a major delay case file held for background checks for many months and this reply they gave to an MP.

Jeevan m As far travelling to India, I was listening to Indian radio online. They WARNED that NOT everyone can just fly to India. Conditions : Only Indian Citizens, Canadian Citizens who have an OCIs VISA (Overseas Citizens of India) and diplomats can travel. Passengers who have 1 year to 5 year VISAS cannot travel. This is what I heard from RADIO, needs further confirmation thou. And 14-day quarantine period at hotels is mandatory AND traveler has to pay for all. Found this :-

On my last set of notes back in June Eligibility was Listed as “refer to officer (March 2020)” with an officer note saying he was satisfied with evidence and proof provided... The senior officer he referred to finally gave the Green Light 5 months after!

I see. As long as you both met for a month or 2 be4 marriage, it should be OK wether it is 2nd or 3rd marriage. They are concerned about genuine or FAKE? nothing much more than that. Is wife also 2nd marriage? Since according to Indian culture a 1st marriage most cases won't marry a 2nd marriage, but still again if the marriage is genuine , no probs. AN interview is triggered with many issues like age diff, non compatibility etc.
Usually max 1 month. It depends if other things passed. Did you order GCMS or can share oter things BG, eligibility etc
