Praise Allah. I'm so happy for you. We are still waiting for the email to update medical and police and background checks. June 24, 2019 is when we won our appeal and July 22, 2019 is when we got our written NOTICE OF DECISION. Missaiga said they sent our case to the vo in Rabat on August 29, 2019. They should have received it within 10 days!!

How did you find out that Mississauga transferred the file already to VO? When I called IRCC call centre, they just said, I have to contact VO to get any kind of update and didn't even tell me if they transferred the file.

Hey. I would really appreciate if someone can assist me with my situation.

I was married in Dec 2014 in Pakistan.
The girl immigrated here in Dec 2015.
My marriage was not registered in Alberta because we never felt the need to.
At that time I lived in Alberta
We lived together for 6 months and got separated in July 2016.
She moved to Ontario and I stayed in Alberta.
I had my marriage certificate from Pakistan and also arranged a divorce certificate from Pakistan in July 2017.
In Dec 2017, I got married again in Pakistan and moved back to Pakistan on a permanent basis.
Can I sponsor my second wife having the Pakistani divorce certificate or do I have to file a canadian divorce as well?
I am a Canadian Citizen.

Will really appreciate your assistance.

I received their letter saying that my appeal has been granted and then they sent me another letter indicating the date and time to appear for the appeal with my counsel.

Do you have any email address for Mississauga?

I called the ircc number, they said morocco had my file and when I emailed morocco they said ottawa had our file. So I contacted my mp and she called ircc and they told her that our file was sent back to morocco for processing on Aug 29. So it's still in transit as they told the mp. I know for a fact that it only takes 10 days to get a letter to morocco. Plus I heard ircc sends files overseas by fedex. So we are still waiting for the email to update our medical and other forms.
