2018/9 refusal letter(Sponsor intention to stay in Canada)
2018/10 filed appeal
2019/02 received blue book
2019/Jun/5 notice of schedule conference
2019/7/10 schedule conference(set time for hearing for Aug 28/2019, So I have to send my evidence by Aug 8/2019)
2019/7/26(Friday) evidence sent by Express mail to IAD in Vancouver, delivered in person in Calgary.
2019/7/29(Monday morning) Vancouver delivery received
2019/7/29(Monday afternoon) Appeal won. Decision letter received. Case required to proceed.

i made webform inquiry about my Application 18th this month and got reply yesterday like this :-

Congratulation. Did you have an ADR? If not, they might have made their decision based on what you submitted. If you can include what you submitted, it would be helpful to us. Also, did you have a lawyer and what was your refusal?

1. No ADR.I didn’t expect they open my mail so quickly. They probably spent one hour read and 15 mins to make decision. They made decision solely based on my evidence.
2 I submitted 45 pages of evidence. Employment letter, paychecks, car, housing rental etc. trace of my living the past 9 months. However, most importantly(the schedule officer told me) to write a touching letter to IAD and tell them my wife has been away from me due to ViSA problem and how much I missed her. Basically I wrote the letter from bottom of my heart. So I guess it was very touching
3. No lawyer or representative of any kind.
4 I was denied because I was away fromCanada very long time. Officer doubted my intention to move back to Canada. And I didn’t have enough evidence showing I was coming back.

Few questions,

1 My wife had medical exam May 2018! It’s expired right? She has to do it again?
2. She lived in Canada as a Visitor for 9 months, does she need RCMP clearance?
3. The decision was made based on “ humanitarian and compassionate grounds”. So does this progress faster?

So uh...yesterday, we got another rejection saying that after reviewing our reconsideration letter and evidence, the will not open the file...
I guess we will have to move on to appeal progress then.

I am moving back to Toronto to settle down in early September anyway, my husband has to stay in Hong Kong.

After allowed our hearing on November 2018, Colombo CHC Visa post requested our documents on February 2019 and mailed all needed documents on March (Medical, schedule A, PCC etc). To-date we didn't hear anything from VO or IRCC. Could any one in this forum tell us how long it will take to get our PPR.

I also colombo VO we won our appeal last month 14th and file reopen 25th this month now waiting for new Pcc and other additional document . By the way which visa office request your medical and pcc ? Colombo or Ottawa ?
I think you can contact your mp to about your this situation. And order your gcms note then you can find what’s going on your application.
And what’s the reason for your refusal ?

Oh my, even after hearing you were refused. I don’t know what to do in such case, but I really hope god will help you to go over it and unite with your family!!! Why was it refused though???

My wife couldnt answer on Islamic question, some question on our development basically they lied a lot both Judge and Immigration officer. I belive that we should fight for our own right. The more we show them weak, they more they abuse us. So we have to more aggressive. We are trying to live for some years together and then we will fight.

That is so sad... If I were you I would find some good lawyer in Canada for the next step. But you are right! Problems make people closer to each other!
