we were refused for financial even i have enough assets and income in my country and have transferable skills and assets but my husband ws with me in my country for about 8 months when we built our house in my country. then my husband went back to canada and did 3 jobs then we were allowed the appeal. the ministers counsel has told my husband that he has done a good job by doing 3 jobs within a small period. (within 7 months)
i also was confused that why we need enough assets and skills as a spouse to come to canada? but their rules their country right?
but if you check the Canlii cases you can see how many people were refused under the financial though they are genuine.

They were mostly concerned about your husband, not you, because he's the sponsor.

That's correct; however, a sponsor must continue to meet eligibility requirements until the PR visa is issued for their spouse. Refusals on financial grounds happen when a sponsor falls behind on child/spousal support payments for example AND the spouse being sponsored is not able to satisfy CIC that they will be able to provide for their family.

Read the undertaking again. The sponsored spouse also has a responsibility to provide for themselves and their family.

How can they refuse on financial grounds. I thought spousal sponsorships were exempt from meeting specific financial requirements.

Thank you all for ur reply....I have to sent more proof before I have my hearing so I will do that this week because I went to visit my husband in Egypt in sep 2014 for more proof and pictures...My husband and I wrote a few pages about our marriage from the day we met till now,do you think hand written is better our typed??

My husband received to send forms and police certificate 4 days ago. Today we received a separate email to do his medical reassessment. any one experience this?

Yes, i would recommend. They still want to know what is your husband doing and it will definitely benefit him.

YES WE ALSO THOUGHT LIKE THAT WAY IN THE FIRST BUT THEY HAVE MENTIONED THAT THE APPLICANT IS INADMISSIBLE BCOZ OF MY HUSBAND'S FAULTS, BUT AFTER WE SHOWED OUR ABILITY THEY ALLOWED OUR APPEAL

Mine is full medical.. but they said only medical n mentioned where i have to go i mean hospital n they sent me also forms of medical .which i have to give to hospital pannel...

I get that I just wanted to know if every one is receiving assessment of medical or just few. Seems like you received full medical. My husband received assessment of medical because his med is still valid and expiring next month. Yours probably expire 3 months ago or more therefore they are asking for full medical.

We have already send out the forms but now he needs to do this reassessment which will go to Delhi.

It was ok, my lawyer asked me a couple of questions And the minister's counsel as well, and then they spoke to my husband. We were scheduled for full, but finished at 11 am.
But am soooo worried, i dont know if i won or not ans its been two weeks.
