hmm... takes too long....why VOs dont understand the problems genuine couples face after rejection..... what reasons VO gave for denial ?
only one that ur previous marrige was MOC ?

Well, forgot about past relationship and just gather proofs for your present relation. If I am not wrong you were the principal applicant when u immigrated to Canada? if so , thats in ur favor for appeal.. but the bad thing is it is going to take long time.. be strong and be prepared...

We're supposed to hear any day now on a ADR hearing. We were told we had insufficient proof of relationship even though we showed: 3trips per year before our application and updated our file with additional trips during our application waiting period. The latter 4months of the application I left Canada so we could live together full time. My "will" was submitted with the application and was updated 6months before the decision. Life insurance and better medical insurance has been in place for 3yrs too. Tons of pics and videos were submitted and letters from both families testifying to our relationship. We were still rejected.
What else could we add as proof of relationship?

Hi guys..couple of questions...my appeal office is in montreal..im in Halifax...im now thinking I need a lawyer...for the hearing you are required to travel to montreal correct or do they link you via teleconference from your city ? Also if I have to go to Montreal ..do you think its more cost effective to hire a montreal lawyer ..is that possible to do it via email and such? Im really concerned about money matters

The notes were so vague you could poke at it and not hit anything. I've scanned the bluebook and sent it to a consultant for advice so we'll see.
