thx for the reply , yeah I'm just really confuse because my lawyer contacted IAD there the one informed him that the decision was transfers to VO in diplomatic courier what that is . but CIC on the email a says to contact CPP-Ottawa if I want to get information on the status of my application . I'm really confuse . I'll have my lawyer contact IAD again thx

I will soon to be refuse by VO.

They sent me a letter that I was misrepresentation.

The fact is I previously living in UK as a long-term resident (youth mobility scheme) I was declare myself on the question where did you live efore and what is your status in the counrty on IMM8 by error to permanent resident. I was typing resident but it change to permanent resident without me notice.

and they bring up my other form which I wrote my status in the UK as Resident.
In my definition resident is a someone who live there for a period of time legally.
But look like VO not happy with the resident word. they point at that is misleading them.

Now they want to use that error on IMM8 that I declare as PR in UK instead of resident of UK to refuse my app under misrepresentation.

Did u get ur notice of Appeal being allowed from IAD?If so, when?

hi guys
I was wondering if anybody knows if CPP-Ottawa is taking care of all allowed appeal . we won our appeal for my husband sponsorship , back in December 2013 . after sending couple email everywhere to find out if the file went back to Port Of Spain . Port of Spain reply back saying the haven't received the IAD decision yet , so dont have the file and don't need anything from us now . I contact CIC via email because I was unable to check my e-cas and on the reply email a says that if I want to inquire any status of my application to contact CPP- Ottawa . so I'm wondering that's it's mean that our file will be process here or still go back to port of Spain .

we won the appeal on 27 November 2013; however, till date nothing further has happened. There has been an unending wait at all phases.

Then you should contact cpp-ottawa.They usually email for medical,pcc & form submission within 10-20 days after they get file.Check this link--

So sorry to hear that. So under the "youth mobility scheme", were you given a work permit or resident permit? Your status would be whatever type of permit they gave you. Really, this is harsh by the visa officer. Have you spoken to a lawyer? Definitely appeal if they refuse you.

Welcome to the forum canadianshamrock.Sorry to read of your denial. :'( You will have 30 days from the date of the refusal letter to give notice of appeal. You must submit your refusal letter with the appeal form. You should receive both together with instructions. Here is a wealth of information and support from around the world in the same boat.You should order your Caips notes now. There is another term used for these now also I can't remember exactly GCMS or something like that?This will tell you the visa officer's issues and concerns. This is what you need to address for a resolve through an appeal along with supporting evidence of your relationship/marriage.

Can any body help me . When we come to know its short or full hearing then they inform u tht ur hearing date is 1 or after 2 months giving date. I mean total time of ur actual date after come to know u have decided for full or short hearing . Plzzzzzzzzz answer me

Stats??
I am reading that there are approximately 50,000 spousal sponsorship cases a year with 10,000 being deemed fraudulent.
Of these, there are about 3,000 appeals, with only a third of these being successful. This came out of the Toronto Star.

Does any one know, are these stats close? Can they be verified?
