Today July 17-2025 - Filed still Not re-opened and no Communication from IRCC
We did not have an interview during our application process. IRCC never questioned the genuineness of our relationship. We were found to be in a Bonafide relationship, and our Eligibility was passed. Our hearing was a case of an alleged misrepresentation pertaining to the police certificate we provided. We were asked questions relating to how we met and how we got here but most questions were centered on how we obtained the police certificate that was in question, so we just gave them a step-by-step process of how we applied for it and how it ended up in our hands for submission.

In order to re-submit a new application, you need to have new evidence, a change in your situation.
I have been through this process and I have experience.
I was on this forum in 2017 when I was going through the appeal process. You can find my posts from page 641 onwards.
MY TIMELINE:
Sponsored my husband : May 2014
Husband went for interview : Nov 2014
Got rejection letter : Jan 2015
Filed Appeal : Jan 2015
Received Blue book: April 2015
Received hearing date: Mar 2016
FULL HEARING : July 2017
4 Months later appeal was dismissed.
Fast forward to 2024, I'm still with my husband, we have a beautiful 6 year old daughter and in July 2024 I reapplied. We went through the sponsorship process again and this time we were successful. So just a little encouragement for those of you going through this process, don't give up, you will get there. I have been on this very hard journey for over a decade. I know what its like, I have walked in your shoes. Keep the faith and I wish you all the very best.
