Once ur voice has reached out there, they will put ur husband through as fast as they can cause they will realise the news will expose them. It hurt so much to spend money, time just to have ur partner with u and these officers will sit at their comfortable zone in air-conditioning assuming people's marriage is not genuine. It's total nonsense. After applying in 2019, I provided every document, evidence or whatsoever they could ask for and even attended the interview but they denied me on May 5th. Now I have to spend thousands of $$ to appeal this plus extra delays. But if I ever get the chance to join my wife in Canada, I will never vote for this fraudulent and racist government. Their delays and denial has caused me a whole lot. The government has failed totally.. any man or government that stand against family reunification to deny them visa doesn't want the best for their citizen's

I really hope you win your appeal. This whole experience and reading what others have gone through just makes me realize they do not care one bit about family reunification. We received our file and the agent omitted so much of what I said and wrote things that do not make sense. It just feels like a very corrupt system.

I just read the news story. I am sponsoring my wife from Jamaica and I have a level of anxiety about getting a refusal. Our relationship is genuine but I am worried as I have been married a couple of times before and had a common-law relationship as well in my past. I never had children nor has my wife. We are both the same age ( mid 40's ) I just hope they don't base a decision solely on me being in several serious relationships in my past. I am so sorry for what this government is putting you through. I think its disgusting that they have months to send you file to Canada. In todays world it should be within a few weeks! Then I hear they have 6 months to reopen the file after you win the appeal. Again disgusting! Your file should jump back to the front of the line and reopened within weeks!

I wish you all the best in your process. Just stay strong together and know deep down in your hearts your relationship is genuine. I know some people who had wonderful experiences with KVO. Unfortunately there are a few bad apples there. We actually got our file within 2 months of filing the appeal and tomorrow I have an ADR with them.

Well I have some news. End of August we received our file from KVO. Was very difficult to read as a lot was omitted from our interview. Some of my answers don't even make sense anymore. From reading it, I see the agent was twisting things around to make his narrative make sense. Also, my pregnancy was mentioned in there 3 times so very interesting how IRCC told CBC no proof of it was received.

They ended up contacting my consultant and we are doing our ADR tomorrow afternoon. I really hope things work out for us. My due date is 5 weeks away and I just want to know my husband is on his way to being here with me.
