when it says decision made does it mean background/security check is done ?

Not really It would depend on what stage the application is in They put decision made when they issue the air as well

Oh ok... i think mines in final stage though cause they asked me for updated forms, police clearance and medical after recieving they put it as decision made.

If they have asked for updated forms and it has been 3-4 months from that point I think you will not wait much longer for the visa

Hello, Guys. We've appealed last year (June), Still have not get the Hearing date. Any Guesses When we might hear about our Hearing date?

It of course depends on where the immigration office in Canada you are dealing with. We were dealing with Montreal and it took 9 months to get a hearing date. We applied March 2016 and got an ADR date of Decemeber 20 ,2016. I suggest you call the immigration office and ask them when you might get a date they should be able to give you an idea. They may also be able to tell you if you will get an ADR or a full hearing. Best of luck to you.

14 months waiting time for Vancouver, don't hesitate to contact IAD, and talk to the officer who is in charge of your file.

My office is Vancouver too, but I'm in Saskatchewan so it's not fast. Close to 24 mos.
Tony000 is also not in Vancouver. I believe in NWT or Nunavut. My thinking is will be 2 yrs too! But definitely call to see where your file is at. You can always find out. They can estimate. Sometimes they are a little off. If your next for scheduling unit it's a good sign your about 2 mos away from getting a date. Also depends on availability of lawyers, representative and court dates open. Hope that helps.

I have full hearing on May 15th 2017. Today I have received a fax from IAD advising me your hearing has been postponed because no hearing officer is available.
I have no idea why this people play with our life. I have waited 2 years to get hearing date and now they are telling me its postponed. Shame on them.

Some members here had waited two years for a Full hearing in Toronto. Blue Book will arrive after 120 days or more. For now all you have to do is gather more evidence, live with your sponsor or visit if that is possible, look for an Immigration lawyer if your case have a lot of red flags. Also read some posts of members here, you will get a lot of ideas.

Theybrecived my updated forms April 22,2017 plus bio page of passport. The call centre said today that they are in the process of doing background check and security check Does anyone have a time line on how long this process takes ?

I am also wondering how long i have to wait for my passport request. Will the Officer do the final review this month? next month? by August 4?

This is part of an email sent to us by the office of Member of Parliament who inquired in our behalf:

May 3 CIC advised:

- Client won PR refusal appeal

- Jan. 10/2017 PR file was reopened

- Currently, all security and backgrounds passed

- Is in queue for final review at CPC Ottawa

- When an application returns to CIC following an appeal it is identified as non-routine and there is no posted timeline for completion

- There is an note on file identifying a bring forward date of April 4, 2017

- Four months must pass from that date before CIC will do a follow up with the processing office on a status

- If client hears nothing by Aug, 4, 2017 a follow up will be initiated.

- I will diary date Aug. 4 for an inquiry

- If client does receive any update prior please advise MP office.

You got your ADR for December 20 last year, do you already have your visa since then or still waiting?
