Got the call... First fast thing in this whole process. So bluebook end of may... Got the ADR letter August 1 and they called our consultant aug 8 at which time the consultant booked our ADR for the middle of September (she didn't send the date and time or where cuz she's waiting on the confirmation fax... Likely Monday)

Flying home sept 2.

Hi,

I received my booklet on July 28 and received hearing date for November 17. I was wondering how your consultant got a date for September. I would like mind sooner that's why. Can you change the date once you receive it?

Having a ADR date is better than not having one. Look at me. I have no date yet. I received my blue book before you. 2 weeks ahead of you. It' s better you leave the date the way it is. Officer's won't like it.

Hello everyone, I don't understand something! When you receive the blue book that means you get the file from the embassy the refused the case? And another question does the apeal office has the same file or you have to start sending the apeal, same proof of documentation we have send before at the embassy? Please help me understand. I am so confused for the blue book , so the apeal has copies of them in the system and they know why we got a rejected case?
Thank you for your time

When you receive your blue book, it is a copy of the file that immigration has. It shows in there why you were refused, has notes from the Visa Office, your application, etc. They have the same copy. When you get the appeal hearing (ADR or full hearing) you will have 20 days before the date to send in the new info you have in regards to your case (letters, phone records, boarding passes, etc).

They have the same copy of your information that you do (the blue book).

Hope that helps

With your refusal letter they will send you the option to appeal. You will need to send in the request to appeal. They definitely know why you were refused, and that's why you receive a refusal letter have your spouses interview, or whatnot.

Hope that helps

Thank you very much.
I'm losing my mind.

Thanks but waiting for the blue book don't know how long wil it be? No one gets a date set til receiving the Blue Book? Is guess is inposibe I guess?
Thanks

Good news. Vancouver office
Blue Book first week of May (was rejected dec2013)
Aug 1 received mail to say we can call to book ADR
Finally got the date from the consultant for Sept 23
(might have been sooner but it's the earliest the consultant is available)

Hope that helps for your "wondering" of current timing... Of course each case is a bit different.

Wish us luck...

Wherever your application is (for example mine was in Havana, Cuba but I think it's the same everywhere) they have 120 days to send your file back to the appeal office (Vancouver or Toronto). I appealed in January and I got my blue book in May. So took about 5 to 6 months.

I think it all depends on the embassy. Hopefully Albania sends your fast so you can get the process going. It is a long and difficult process. My husband and I have been together for almost 4 years now and married for 2. Still waiting! The best of luck to you and your husband :)

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and I need your help in understanding something. My husband and I just won our appeal and received a letter from CIC ottawa. When they are asking for original updated forms: IMM 0008, IMM 5669, IMM 5406. Does that mean we take the copy of the form what we originally submitted and make changes, sign and date. Or do they mean we must copy our forms we originally submitted onto a new form add changes sign and date. Also what if there aren't any changes to update?
Michelle

Do you mind telling me you received this request or your husband did from Ottawa? I mean if appellant or applicant? and how through email or they send letter at home? Did you receive this after you received the notice of decision?

After u get a decision letter from the judge the decision goes back to cbsa then cbsa will forward the file to Ottawa then Ottawa decides whether they will finalize the file or to be send to the visa office...

example in my case I won my appeal oral decision was given Feb./ 10/2014 then I got the written decision in the mail mid April I called cbsa and they informed me that they have send my file to Ottawa on April 25. then I e-mail Ottawa in end of April they replied to my June 22, that they are in the process of sending my file back to sri-lanka visa office. On July 08 got a e-mail from the embassy to re-do medical, police clearance and update new forms we did everything and handed over in person July 17. e-cas updated July 23 medical have been received after that never heard anything till yesterday my MP enquired they reply

" Please be advised this file is with the officer for review, which will be reviewed within the next week "

It's been over 6 moths still waiting :'( :'(

My embassy is in rome because in Albania we only have consulate. So hopefully won't take long for the blue book to arrive in Toronto! The problem it looks like the waiting time after the decision.we have to wait longer to finalize the proces.Oh God no more patient.
