Hi ,

I want to know how long did it take after ADR to get your visa? Was it being processed in Ottawa or your home country and where?

Thanks in advance for the response.

You should not reapply if the reason for rejection is constant. They will most likely refuse your case again. You have been waiting for hearing for 1 and a half year, looks like you are going to get a full hearing. That takes about 2 years but not more than that. If you are reapplying from Pakistan the average wait time is 32 months. You have to analyze your case to see if the issue is something that can be resolved during reapplying (more wait time + more risk) OR hearing (being able to talk to judge and officer by your self and explain the reasoning properly + less time).

U r absulotely right hhassa ... i agree with u .

Hi, we have decided to withdraw our appeal as my case worker says your hearing date may be in Jun-2015 so I am going to reapply. Our case refused on Sep-2012, appealed in Oct-2012 after that long wait............. it's too much.

im reading your post with sadness. I know how difficult it is. Try to keep busy and discuss your frustration with others. (we waited for the appeal- it took 28 months ) and then it was another 20 months AFTER winning appeal

Hello/Salam alaikum,

I was just wondering about this appealing process... After you receive your bluebook, do you need to wait several months for a judge to give you the go ahead to send your file too to make a decision whether it'll be ADR or full hearing? Or do you just send your file whenever you want after you've gotten your bluebook and prepared tons more proof?

Thanks :) good luck to everybody :)

Has any one that has done a appeal done it with out a Lawyer or consultant?

You can send right after you receive blue book. When I had received my blue book, I was thinking we can send few packages during all this process but I was told by my consultant that we should gather everything and just send one package instead of bombarding them with many packages which I thought was a good idea. So officers do not have to go through too many package that might annoy them.

If you have ADR I don't think you need a lawyer/consultant. They are not allowed to speak during ADR. Its only you who will be answering all officer's question. However, for preparing new package for sending before your ADR lawyer/consultant can be a good guidance. If you are not sure what to send. My consultant was told during ADR by the immigration officer that the package was really good and straight forward and included everything. So yeah as I said they can be good help to prepare the package but no help during ADR.

Hi Guys,

I got a refusal today from CIC, Delhi because they said I haven;t submitted the Marriage certificate from the temple and I didn't submit the photograph of the homa, or offering in the sacred fire, panigrahana, but I submitted the Marriage certificate from the court.

I don't have those pictures so I don; t know what to do now.

Should I get the marriage certificate copy from the temple where we did marriage?

No lawyer needed? I already with the lawyer just in the safe side. OH god, so I am the one who going to be with the Immigration officer? This going to be much harder. I get nervous easily. How was your feel when you got interviewed? :-[
