01 Feb'13 -- got the refusal letter

14 Jul'13 -- got confirmation for ADR and ADR date

01 Oct'13 -- ADR approved

09 Dec'13 -- Got letter from CPP, to fill some form, medical, and pcc

if you don't mind me asking, when did you get a refusal letter, and when did they tell you that you will have ADR?

I will apply for appeal soon, just wanted to know how long is the wait

I am new in here.
I received my refusal letter stating that he is not a member of the family class. We were living together exactly a yr before I got my PR.
Is there any chance of winning the appeal?
Does anyone of you have same problem as mine?

@Coquii, why didn't you decleared your spouse in your PR application? I am sorry but if this is the case than that means you may never sponsored your spouse to canada under the family class. I suggest you consult a good lawyer to help you with option you have. Take it easy and hope for the best cos nothing is impossible.

thanks for your reply.we were starting at that time and I did notice that were a yr living together when I had my PR.
I hired a lawyer with the sponsorship and she said, the application is h&c.
now I don't know what to do.

I think you have to start somewhere but my advice for you is to appeal on the ground of H & C grounds but don't spend to much money on a lawyer because on that ground everything depends on you to show intense break down for them to consider. Maybe the money you going to give to the lawyer can be used to applied for other class like skill work etc.

I would appreciate if somebody can walk me through the process of application for appeal. Specifically, I have these questions:
As I understood I need to have a cover letter along with refusal letter and other docs the embassy sent to me. So, in cover letter I should write why the decision is wrong and that I have additional proves that our relationship is genuine. Should I include those additional proves right away? or this should be done later?

I hired Green n spigal .. seem they are good lawyer .. atleaset they will respond you well and do the pepper work for you .. and would cost 5500 $ ..

you can appeal by urself also .. if they are telling one or two reason .. it depend on your case ..

My case was rejected due to "Marriage for convenience" means relationship is not genuine .. it was normal objection they put .. but I didn't want anymore issue in my life and took the lawyer ... but i did work with lawyer and arranged all paper ...

So, if reason is small then you can do by urself ... upto you .. i will inbox you my number ..

Its better to provide cover letter .. I had appeal with my lawyer so, i have no idea what they had include with appeal paper ..

May be some other veteran can help you ..

IAD counsel will see and decide if your case have potential for ADR or full hearing ....
