Hi gamma27
I didnt received any email for AOR, but i received file number on July 27 and the status on ECAS was updated on 10 oct saying they have started processing in london office, received medical on 18 november. Done medical and paid fees for RPRF. Now waiting for further instructions.

i had got FN on 27 JULY,and on 15 AUG my files was transferred to CIC office in HONGKONG. unfortunately, i do not get any further message form then on . moreover, my experience seems not a individual case, there are lot of applicants share the same as me

Dear Friends, Al-hamdulila I got my AOR on 3 March 2015. In-sha-allah good days coming soon. Please pray for each other. ;D

Any updates sujwal??

any one have any idea how long it will take to get passport request.

I'm a SINP applicant. Medical received. RPRF fee paid on last week.

Fellow SINP members,

My passport had only few months left so I renewed my passport last week and received my new passport with new number.

Do you think I should send a scanned copy of renewed passport to CIC along with old passport before I get the PPR aka passport request

or should I just wait till i get the PPR and send both old and new passport?

obviously the application has been initially filed with the old passport

I think u should wait for PPR, otherwise they will delay regarding you new information update which is not so important. Hope other senior will give u more valuable info :)

By the grace of almighty Allah, just received my PPR. In the PPR, manila visa office directly says they are now ready to issue VISA.

Do pray for us.

ill stick to this forum to cheer you guys just like you have done the same for me.

Will finally update when I get my passport with the sticker.

Regards,

Congratulation my friend! ;)
In your timeline you mentioned you received your AOR on 10/07/2013 and your file transferred on 20/08/2014 so can you explain where did they send your file in the fist step after AOR and then it transferred to Manila visa office on 20/08/2014?

on 20/8/2014 Manila Visa office said they received my file. i'm calling this " file transfer" not sure if its the correct way to say this. my ecas says the same.

i initially sent my whole doc package ( after getting nomination from SINP - family referral catagory) to nova scotia which was probably then probably placed to manila visa office.

my main screen Ecas still says "in process" and still no "decision made" aka DM but then I probably dont need to worry about ecas status anymore. :P

My Friend,
I asked previous question because from your timeline you received your AOR on 10/07/2013 and then File transferred to Manila visa office on 20/08/2014 (About 1 Year and 1 month after) it means your application took 1 year to reach to Manila visa office and it shows It was somewhere else in this big world! ;) because CIO never keep files after sending AOR and they immediately transfer files to other local visa offices and there are cases which one application first transfer to one visa office and after a while they transfer it to its final destination and start working on it.

Anyway, You passed your way and you received your passport request. About ECAS, don't worry because in many same situations there are applicants who landed in Canada with their permanent resident visas before but theirl ECAS still showing they are In Process!!! ;D
