Hi JCS,

I also called them this week and asked the same, the guy I spoke to told me it was nearing the end and that no additional documents are required at this time. I tried to get more info out of him, but not a sausage! He just basically said he can't say when I will hear.

I hope it is not a case of working on them as and when they feel.. that is just awful. Lets hope we hear soon eh!!

Lucky you. In your case at least it is nearing the end. I was told mine is in the middle and I applied before you. Weird system they have. Hope the waiting for you is over very soon!!!!!!

I also sent an email a few weeks ago to ask the status of my application. Here is the response I received:-

From the time the applications are entered into our system until the final assessment letter is sent to the applicant and/or Rep the only response the SINP can ever provide is “in process” as the file is in our processing queue. It is very time consuming to handle the volume of status inquiries so trust this explanation assists you in understanding that unless we email a letter requesting documents the file is in the processing queue. If documents are requested the file is pulled out of the processing queue and other completed files move ahead in the processing queue, which is why it’s important to submit complete application packages. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Mine was submitted for nomination 09/2011 and I got an update 06/2012 tellimg me that I need to send the passport details of all of my dependents eventhough they're not accompanying me to Canada for the meantime. Hope to get my nomination before the 3rd qtr of 2012 ends.
