Dear Members,


can anybody answer me my inquiry? what is the difference between Additional Docs request and Updated Docs request? are you guys getting only updated docs? anyone from this thread received additional docs request? replies will be appreciated.

Additional documents are like extra proof of any thing that VO is not satisfied with when submitted your application.Like,myself,got additional documents as how I found the job and also a letter from Employer to explain AEO process.Updated documents refer to any change in your situation since you filed your application,change in address,new borns etc.

i recieved updated forms and additional document request in august. send it all yesterday. any idea how long does it take for MR after submission of additional documents. best of luck to all of u.

Same here I was also asked to submit additional documents and mine were received by them on 24th Sep now waiting for MR just like you. BTW what documents they had asked you to submit?

When did they ask you for updated documents and what are they ??

My documents were received by them on 24th Sep and they asked for it on 18-Aug-2012. Following documents were asked

IMM0008
Schedule A
IMM5406
Updated travel history form
Updated PCC
Updated Proof of funds
Updated Proof of relationship in Canada

i was asked to submit almost same doc along with RPRF but no proof of funds

i have submitted on 23rd of september... now waiting for Medicals

as per some seniores normally they take 4 to 6 weeks to send MR after updated docs...

now i am close by ... lets c

well i was asked to submit IMM0008, additional family information, background declaration and travel history.
plus the degrees of myself, my spouse and my mother. all original
they also asked for proof of relationship namely the BC of my mother n uncle.

BC was not available so i send them original marriage certificates, affidavit in lieu of BC and educational documents for both. all original.

i dont know wht will be the outcome n will it be enuff to satisfy the VO. i did send some updated proof of residency documents as well though it was not required.

i asked a number of seniors as at which stage we r asked for updated forms n additional documents. most of them think tht at this stage eligibility is cleared and MR follows soon. so keep the fingers crossed. in my case lack of BC is makin me nervous.

My documents were received there on 24th Sep. I wish we get MR in 4 to 6 weeks but they have written "please allow us 4 months".
