For those that are still going to have their medicals, who are female or applied witha female spouse:

Ok here is a possibly slightly awkward piece of information regarding your medical, but I wish I would have been aware of this!

Apparently you can not complete your medical if you are menstrual or stopped being menstrual in the past couple of days because blood will show up in your urinal test and you are either asked to retake it or if send off to immigration it could lead to either the request for more tests or rejection. So, when booking your medical ensure that you don't book it for during or just after your period. I had no idea that this could cause such an issue, but sure wish i would have been aware beforehand.

Just got an update on mine

We received your application for permanent residence on February 9, 2012.

We started processing your application on July 26, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

My medical showed that they were received June 27 one month beofre they started to process my application

Did my medicals on June 30th in India and DMP sent the reports directly to ottawa rather than sending it to the regional office (new delhi). According to the tracker information, reports reached ottawa on July 4th but till now no update has been done to my status that they have received my medical reports. Has anybody come across such situation?? PLS comment I'm worried. PR application status on CIC website is

Just wondering where u'r CEC case is being processed. Ottawa or New Delhi ?

I suppose if you have received the medical request from Ottawa pilot processing centre, you are supposed to send the medical results to Ottawa. In this case it is good for you.

what do you mean? Do you mean you got emailed? and when did you apply? Did you send your work reference letter and university degree?

wow that's extremely strange...what time did they call you and did they tell you why? It might have been a quality evaluation. When did you apply and have you received your medical request?

They receive my application Feb 9th and my medical were sent 18th May.

My application became "In Process" on the 25th

I'm sure it's just a quality evaluation, I don't think it's anything to worry about. What time did they call you and what number did they call you with?

I am not sure i went through a lawyer and he only forwarded me the medical request

Any updates for February???? I haven't receive any medical request yet. AOR receive last may 20, 2012.

Not yet...Did any applicant from February tried to contact CIC? Its been almost 2.5 months that i received AOR but no update after that..The wait is killing... I hope that we receive the medical by end of this month..Best luck to all of us
