Perhaps, relocation of Canada Based CIC officers at VOs has slowed down the process. This is the time (summer) when they are cross-posted from one VO to other or VO-Canada-VO.
 
Hi to all,

No updates about my case either, still In Process with RBVO details...

I got a new work permit though last month. I Applied online and was approved after 55days from transmission date.
I would suggest you to check the website for the processing time so you'll see which date are they processing now or phone the call center and inquire about your work permit.

Hopefully we'll see a brighter future next month! ;)

I sent out an enquiry to Buffalo office last week and got a reply this morning:

Your file is in a queue awaiting initial assessment. This could take up
to 64 weeks from the date we received the application.

But it has already been 64 weeks now. when the hell are they going to do it?
 
Yes I have done this in my local citizenship and Immigration office. Hey I am imaging you will walk to office and request them to look and see what is happening in your file and say them that you haven't received any information.

As long as you are nice, they will be nice. Don't bark just ask as a request.

Hopefull they will be nice.

HEY GUYS,

I JUST READ OMM'S CAIPS NOTE AND JUST COMPARED MINE AND I SAW THAT MY OFICIAL LANGUAGE HAS CODE (4) IN CAIPS BUT I HAD 6.5(2,2,4,4) BANDS IN IELTS AND ACCORDING TO CAIPS CODE IT MEANS FLUENT IN NEITHER WHAT DOES THIS MEANS THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME ANY POINTS FOR LANGUAGE, AND MY BFD IS 24TH/JUNE/2011, AND ALSO I SEND MY PASSPORT FOR RENEWAL SO SHOULD I SUBMIT THE COPY AS SOON AS I GET IT(WILL IT GIVE ME ANY PROBLEM DURING MEDICAL )
