Dear Seniors,

Need your advice on Police Clearance letter issue:

I was in Saudi Arabia during July 1997 to October '2001. I have two questions:

1) For Saudia Arabia, can I start the process to collect PC now??? Or I have to wait till Vice Office ask for doing it? I am sure about Dhaka that i have to collect the PC from Dhaka just after VO asks within a time frame.


2) I contacted here in Dhaka KSA Embassy for some information only how to proceed with them for PC. I did not get support at all. They told me to contact with my Company there. After 10 years, when I contacted there, my old company informed me to contact with local embassy. Now a days police clearance from KSA requires biometric policy (finger print taking type something..). I am little confused.

Could any one of you please advice me.....?? I assume KSA PC will be requiring long time to get a result. So, i wish to start it now so that only Dhaka one will be pending to me .....

you r paying him, so you have every right to check your status.

If someone like Mr. Tosher, feels good with the service of his Consultant, we may keep silent.

Dear Seniors,

I received the Transcript of my B.Com (Hons) and M.Com from Dhaka University few weeks before with an envelop attasted/ stamped duly .... I need only to seal it anytime i need...

But, my wife's BA (Hons), MA Transcript (from National University) came with an envelope which envelope is not attested/signed/ stamped. That is only an envelope printed with NU Logo, name and address ....

Any comment, please ....

Why any of us wont go to any consultant specially South-east:
Immigration fee for canada (single person): 550 CAD+ 490 CAD = 1040 CAD
fee of SOuth -east: Consultation fee 4000 CAD + Immigration fee 1040 CAD
= 5040 CAD

Question is: how come their consultation fee is higher than immigration fee? How come they charge such huge amount only for filling up those forms, preparing exp certificates,hiding applicants file number & giving bull*censored word* advice?

According to my analysis, Post june singapore VO applicants, whos processing commenced in Feb,2011 are put on hold & whos processing commenced in March,2011 started to get MR.
i know it sounds unfair, but this is what SGVO has been doing so far

"Post June 26,2010 Singapore VO applicants: How long to wait for MR since the commencement of processing"

I have done a research and according to that,

Singapore VO applicants whos processing commenced in March,2011 got MR: within 4-20 days from the date of processing commenced
Singapore VO applicants whos processing commenced in February,2011 havn't got MR yet: ???

Transcripts must be original according to visa office checklist.
i got my Original transcript from dhaka university which had original signature and seal of controller of examination,DU
DU officials put that transcript inside Dhaka university envelop, glued the envelop & put DU seal on the flap of envelop.
Now, that was the procedure of DU, National university could have different procedure. but whatever the procedure is transcript must be original & signed by the controller of examination/authority.

Regarding PCC: it would be wise if you collect your PCC as soon as possible. As per my knowledge, Saudi ambassy at dhaka is responsible for issuing PCC for bangladeshi nationals stayed in saudi arab.

I don't think Mr. Tosher is an ideal example because he has secured 5.0 in writing, 5.5 in L & R module, 7.0 in speaking. Band score becomes 6.0 with the advantage of round (5.75) function of mathematics. Hence, you can't put him in above 6.0 category but you can drag him between 5.0 to 5.5 because his scores in three module are in this range. Moreover, he writes in this forum very negligently. It seems that he is speaking but not writing. Audio reply would be more better for us from him.

I agree with you but there are some problem with IBT (Internet Based TOEFL) also. Most of the centers in the developing countries are not capable to give smooth operation. It's a very common scenario that server crashes frequently, internet interrupts, PC become hang at any stage, etc. Finally, capturing feasible exam dates and desired centers requires 2 to 3 months advanced booking which will increase dramatically if immigration applicants are included. If you go for paper based TOEFL then I think there will be almost no difference with IELTS.

This will be treated as confidential and meeting minutes will be distributed to the attendees only

This is a problem of our Poor country people. Symple IELTS score cannot prove ur Skills. If so then CIC or Canadian govt. count IELTS at least 30 or 40 points. We all have to think out of 100 how much we r achieving ok? here we r again proving that, little learning deng..... WE ARE Analysing a person by geting 6 nor 7 in IELTS , But we dont think symple IELTS score is not making us much qualified to make a commend about any ones professional qualifications.
If Any one think Achieving 8 or 9 in IELTS and he is the factory of knowledge he is a grate full.

We should have to mind our own business.
but we don't do that we just analysis about others it's very bad practies

you have 2 noc , one of them at least should be there , within 29 nocs and have appropriate experience.

if both the noc is within present 29 noc is better.

if any of the noc is not within 29 then you should at least mention there coz it will give a proper view of it.

I'd not drag the "would" conversation anymore about IELTS and TOEFL.
but, IBT questions could be downloaded right before the test and used during the test. You may know that Sun and Cisco has their tests like this.

Jannat, its better to collect the PCC nw from KSA but again who knows when you'd get the call to deliver the PCC. but if I were you I'd collect it now and kept it ready.

Most of the Bangladeshis are treated as "beggars" by the Sheikhs. You're lucky that KSA embassy at least heard your voice in Dhaka. THis happens to all other Arab embassies in Dhaka. You might have to travel to KSA to get your PCC as you just said that they have instroduced Biometric system.

1. Apply with the NOC which has more demand in Canadian job market and have less applicants. It may reduce your processing time.

2. Visa Office usually prefer original copy of transcript only but not certificate. You can take original copy of transcript as much as you can by paying money for each copy. If your university is reluctant to issue another original transcript then you many go with attested ones but risk is yours and it may cause unnecessary delay during processing.
