Dear seniors,

It's almost six months since i got 2nd AOR from Singapore VO. Status is still Received by VO. Should i send an inquiry email or it could make a negative impact on my application?

wait for another 2-3 months. They have not thrown away your file to the surrounding seas of Singapore. They have a time and date to pick your file up and start processing, which is IN PROCESS. wait for that. Sending a query will not help the processing to get faster.

first of all wishes for you patience.send a case specific -inquiry to the visa office if you haven't hard from the visa office yet .you have every right to the information on your case and YES, keep an understanding on the VO's busy hours. these days e-cas has been troubled for some technical reasons and you will see that consequences from the posts of some applicants. some applicants are shown "medical results received by the visa office" where they still didn't send full documents to the visa-office .please click on the link and see whats going wrong with the e-cas:http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/inprocess-with-rbvo-details-t63822.60.html.may be some information are not updated though. it could be the reason that they are checking the background and other information before they start processing . it is not always likely that the e-cas would always start showing "in process"once they start checking the B/C or other documents . they place e-cas at any point of time before they send medical request. so don't get worried .if six- months passed by the time , then in my personal opinion, it is not going to be rejected ! you had better order CAIPS or send an inquiry to the visa office stating that you haven't been heard for the VO since you received the 2nd AOR .for others, please do not place personal frustration and unhappiness while commenting on some applicants post!

@ prince,
send case specific query..
no prob at all..but dont do that frequently..
dont make the same query again & again...
and, 1 important thing...be careful abt ur language while writing letter, coz it presents ur lanuage competence too to VO

exception can never be presented as an example.
only a few cases along with wxyz saw that status. No one in Bangladeshi thread saw that type of Ecas for themselves.

That is most likely the cause for that error.

Teaspoon,
I have heard people do that, applying concurrently.
is your NOC still on the list?
Manilla and CHC ND has more different strategies than CHC SG. Good to know , keep posted.
