What about your eligibility section? In there anything in the notes section?

The best thing is that your file evaluation has been completed and it has been returned to the respective boss. You may have good decision any time.

What is your due date of eligibility assessment?
Thank you. I gave eligibility section as well, but the image was having some issue. Here it is once again.

Nothing new in note section. The last note was one of my CSEs. before that, it was the PF letter they sent me. So, you saying, they are working on my file?

Why one of my GCMS report's notes is empty? There are 14 notes in total. But the latest note entered by Review Officer, does not contain any text. The text field is empty. Any idea why is that?

Finally, I have landed at Toronto Pearson Airport on 24th December with my wife, son and daughter by Saudi Airlines. Actually I was very busy to settle down and that is why I could not share my travelling and landing experiences.

As I have got previous experience of air travelling to Europe and Saudi Arabia, I did not face any difficulties to pass the immigration section in Dhaka, Jeddah and Pearson airports. Just talked to the officers smartly and they were polite. The plane fare was very cheap but the service was good.

We took off at 5 pm from Dhaka on 23 December. We carried 8 luggage, two luggage for every passengers (23kgs for each luggage). We also carried 6 hand luggage with us. The transit was in Jeddah for 5 hours, and the waiting time was boring. In flight service was awesome, especially separate food for my baby. I was given a form to fill up all information before landing.

When we reached at Pearson airport, it was 9:45 in the morning. I was the last passenger to come out from the plane because it took long time to get ready of my two kids. Finally when I meet the immigration officer, he just asked me whether I have anything to declare. I told him I am new immigrant and nothing to declare. Then he took the form given in the plane. After stamping the passport, he showed me a room. When I entered into the room I saw that 4 officers was working for the immigrants. Finally, my turns came, and I meet the officer with my family. He took my landing paper and just asked how many kids I have got, married before or not, and two or three simple questions. Me and my wife signed on the landing paper. The officer took one copy and returned one copy of each to us. He did not ask any question about the amount of money I am carrying. Rather, he asked an address where he will send the permanent residence card. Then we came out through another room where a man gave us the form of health insurance.
To complete the total process it took 15-20 minutes. When we reached to the luggage belt, we got all of our luggage waiting for us. As the number of luggage was 8 and with my two children it was not easy to carry, I called a porter. The fare for the big size trolley was CDN $20 and separate fare for the porter. The porter took us to the waiting lounge from where everybody takes taxi or other vehicle. I was waiting for my maternal uncle in law, and within 10 minutes he reached to the waiting lounge with a car. After reaching home we fall in a sleep for long time.
One thing I would like share that I got admission at York University in Masters program just after getting visa. Now I am studying.

Please pray for me and my family. May Allah help us all. Ameen.

If you have any query, please don’t hesitate write me.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing your story. Story like this give us new dream and energy to sustain the waiting game of Canada immigration process. Can you please elaborate more on your education venture? When did you apply To York University? Did your PR status came handy in this case? Have you received any financial aid in the University? What are the steps you had to take to get admission in a Canadian University as a PR?

Alhamdulillah, I want to share a good news and expect a answer to my query.

Hi everyone.

My timeline is given below:

Application submitted: August 2014
PER received: December 2014
AOR received: January 2015
Medical done: November 2015
Passport request: January 2016
Visa issued: January 2016
Passport with Visa received: January 2016
Visa office: Singapore
NOC code: 2133

Now I have a question to fellow PR applicants and experienced immigrants.
I plan to visit Canada for one week during April/May 2016. Then I will go there permanently after June 2018.
Is it ok for keeping my PR status? From July 2018 I will stay there permanently.

Please give reply with detailed explanation.

Thanks in advance.

Once you enter Canada first time as a PR you have to stay there for at least 100 days +/- ( CIC will let you know the right time) To collect your PR card. Because your IM-1 VISA is only for one time entrance. Once you land in Canada your visa will expire instantly and you complete your PR landing.

So once you get the PR card in hand you can leave Canada and come whenever you want, keeping 730 days of stay in Canada out of total 1825 days.

If you fail to stay 730 days in Canada then your PR status will be revoked and you have to re-apply for whole PR process again.

Hope my information helps :)

Alhamdulillah.

Just collected my passport along with COPR. I would like to thank Almighty ALLAH first and then everyone in this forum for their whole hearted support and prompt dedication in helping me whenever in need. Without your help, I wouldn't have made so far.

For those who are still waiting, please don't loose faith. Pray and have patience and everything will be fine. CIC has expedited the process this year.

Please do keep me in your prayers and let me know if I can be of any help. I will continue to follow this forum which has given me so much.

I am very grateful to learn from some seniors (Rumel bhai, AbuBakar bhai, Zstream, Deba da) who have helped me immensely.

Thanks once again.
