Dear fellow applicant,

I am a Bangladeshi FSW 2014 applicant. I have received an email regarding submitting my passport to BD CVAC within 30 days. However, I am travelling internationally and staying in USA. So, my questions are:

* Since I can't reach the Bangladesh CVAC office, is it possible to directly send my passport to the High Commission of Canada in Singapore through emergency postal service (US Postal Service/DHL etc)?

* If not, what would be the recommended service to send my passport to Singapore CIC from USA?

* I can courier my passport to my family in BD, but I am not sure do I need to present in person to receive my passport from BD CVAC?

You have passed the eligibility. Also there is a chance to pass the criminality and security but it depends on case to case.

You are almost about to get MR. Just wait few more days. InshaAllah good news will come soon.

Alhamdulillah.. just got 2nd line in ECAS.

Dear friends, at last I get a chance to share you a good news, my status in ECA has been changed......
"We started processing your application on December 03,2014". What does it mean?
Have my background been already checked or they have started it right now?
How long will I have to wait for MR?

Finally they touched your file which has reflect in your ECAS.

Only confusion is how the Second line date could be before Nomination date (PER).

Interesting thing is that my PER date is 22 October, 2014. But in GCMS note I found that they were supposed to give PER mail on 17 October, 2014. Somehow, they cancelled that mail.

They mentioned this date in 2nd line.

Look at my time line.
PER = 18 FEB,2015
AOR = 22 MAR,2015
2nd line updated with back date and showing we started processing from 29 January,2015 ! ! ! ! ! Processing started before PER & AOR ! ! !

Dear experts/Seniors, pls look into the matter and tell me what is happening? Is it error? What does this mistake mean ? ? ? What to do now? ? ?

Hi Rumel Bhai,

Due to technical issue I couldn't give you +1 that time

I think this ECAS updated had happened from CIC not from SGVO because this second line is not like previous second line or SLU where everyone counting as a process. CIC might be changing these kind of information and we may see more info from ECAS in future.

Lets hope still we are in the race and wish we could reach the finish line.

- NO, You can't because it would be illegal transaction for passport. SGVO doesn't receive any passport directly.

* If not, what would be the recommended service to send my passport to Singapore CIC from USA?

- Raise CSE and inform them immediately about status at USA. They will advise you to send your passport in which visa center. As I understand it could be at CPC-O. Or there is VAC at LA might be possible.

- NO, because once your send your passport from USA to other country even BD without proper documented then you will be illegal to stay at USA. It might cause a big issue in future.

29th Jan might be your fee encashment date. Mine is also same. Only difference is, my residential address has been included but no 2nd line. Hope for the best. ... In Sha allah. ..

From GCMS report, I have heard that "Due date" under "Eligibility Assessment" is apparently a "Deadline" for the VO to finish Activities of a particular case/client.

My question is:
1. How much true is it ?
2. If true, SLU suppose to come 2/3 months earlier, right ?
3. If not SLU is coming- for the laziness of Visa officer who may want to update everything after finish all activities, it suppose to be the same 2/3 months earlier of Due date, everything should start moving, ryt ?
4. DUE DATE , is it up to MR or passport req. ?
5. What is the (approximate) % of getting everything done within the due date, provided it is a clean/not much complex applicant?

My due date is 25 Nov 2015

I am a single, male applicant, working in only 1 organisation from prehistoric time (and will not change till get a result comes from FSW14). My firm changed their land line once for which i sent CSE already and rest is just fine. Expecting a site visit max since it is not that prominent company though very old. Smiley

They asked 2 copies of recent photos along with PP within 30 days....

Alhamdulliah, I received my Medical Request today and booked my medical appointment with IOM today.


I am bit confused with the whole medical request procedure, CIC requested to sent my PCC,Bio page of my Passport, schedule a form.

I would really appreciate if seniors guide me, how to do this procedure like making the payment, credit card or DD is better. how to send medical report and in which address should i send these documents.
