A friend of mine works for SCB. He told me that DD was encashed.
he didn't tell me anything about the date.
Praying for you.

A friend of mine also works at SCB & i went to their remittance dept & they informed me that they would be able to inform me about the DD status if i can pay for enquiry status. The foreign banks demand money for any enquiry. And my husband confirmed me about this as he had worked one of the largest remittance company in Oman. And i don't know why your friend couldn't inform you about the DD en-cashed date.

Hi, I'm wondering if there any body who submitted the FSW application with a bengali and english mixed National ID. I and my husband both have National Id where Name, DOB and ID no. are in English but parents names are in Bengali. Is it ok to submit the national ID as it is? or do I need to translate and notarize. I live overseas so its nearly impossible for me to do so with the amount of time I've to submit the application. What if I keep the national ID option blank in Generic form and don't include it with the application. Please suggest me. Thanks in advance

Glad he didn't charge me for that. :)
My friend asked his colleague (who deals foreign exchange operations) to check the status of my DD.
He said status changed to "Cashed" from "Not Claimed Yet". I didn't bother to ask when exactly it was cashed.
No matter when it was cashed, I just needed to know the status. :D

I believe, he who works in the foreign exchange department could easily fetch up those info.

First thing is national ID is not a obligatory document that you have to submit but if your passport containing the national ID number it's better to provide a copy of that. If you keep ID option blank and your passport containing the ID number, anyway they will know you didn't share the info. So just send a copy, it will be fine. No need to translate.
I have the same state as yours’. Parents’ names are in Bangla, but it's not a big issue as ID thing is not a compulsory document here.
BTW if your passport is not containing the ID info you may keep the ID option blank. Some people did.

You can keep the ID as it is. No need to translate. But send a copy of it. Though i did translation & notary. But that's not an issue. Go ahead. :)

If that is then it's a good news. But as per SS 11 August applicant got PER. So your turn will come eventually. So why are you so worried? Just relax bro.... :)

Thanks Raisa Nazrana and snow_ski for quick response. I really appreciate your help.

Can anyone suggest where to send all documents in Singapore, shall I use PO BOX address or One George Street, #11-01, Singapore 049145. They asked for Medical and other required documents from me.
