Dear Bangladeshi Friends,
Congrats to all who got their VISA and best wishes to all who are still waiting.

I am planning to apply for skilled migration on upcoming May 2013. I need your expert opinion. I have some questions. So if you can be kind enough to reply the following questions, I shall be really grateful.

1. I heard and read that there will be no occupation bar from 2013. Meaning people from every occupation can apply. Is that true? I am asking cause I am an IT professional and I am planning to apply for Computer and Information Systems Managers NOC Code 0213.
2. I have been working on IT firm as an owner and CTO for 7+ years. So am I eligible to apply? Although I am an owner of the company, my job description matches with Computer and Information Systems Managers NOC Code 0213. But some of my documents like my previous passport enlisted my occupation as Business.
3. As per the new rules, do I need to evaluate my educational certs through proper authority as preparation for May, 2013 application?

there will be occupation bar but IT is most likely to be in the list, you should be eligible since you seem to be an expert in IT. As for the educational certificates, it must be evaluated by an agency appointed by CIC and the names of these agencies will be declared in coming april

I am a bit anxious about my PPR. I sent RPRF and other documents on 17th January 2013 and my e-cas updated as " medical result have been received" on 3rd February 2013. When can i expect PPR? by the end of this month or it mar delay? please reply.

We all MI1 (Pre-june 2010) applicant have been waiting this long more or less.

MI -1 applicants : February 2008 - June 2010 (Those who applied during this time frame are falling under MI -1)

People who applied at the Q1 / Q2 of 2010 had around 2.5 -3 years wait time to obtain visa in most cases. But those who applied between Feb 2008 - June 2009 , their total processing time was a little more than a year or less .
