But Badal bhai, This will not give the true picture of PNW. Because in general, PNW is the value of your asset less liablities as at particular date. Value of your asset / liability at future date do not show the position of current status. Best is to show these at present value, i.e, as at the date of PNW or current date (original value + interest as at current date). Financial company may not provide this sort of certificate. Its good if can be arranged. If this is not possible, showing this at original value is safe. In case of Govt. bond, bank sometimes provide Present value certificate, if they are convinced. Badal is right. you have to quote the amount at maturity. that will make the total amount you can transfer to canada. if you go to the last part the PNW it says the amount you are carrying now i.e at the time of landing, and the amount you will transfer later. that's my understanding. i am filling my form that way. thanks, zamanpr1979 said:
