Hi All,

I've a 2yr masters and a 2yr+ TA and RA experience (while doing masters) in Canadian Univ. Now want to apply for PR in Canadian Experience Class category. Am I eligible to apply (as I assume 2yr+ of part-time TA + RA as equivalent to 1yr full-time experience)? One thing I want to mention that I was nominated this year for provincial nominee program but I withdrew by myself and chose to go for PhD. Will it be a problem for my Federal PR application?

The Visa Office asked for (i) RPRF, (ii) some other forms, (iii) updated photograph, (iv) Police Clearance Certificate, The deadline is 60 days. So do i need to send PP and Schedule A through VFS and other documents throw DHL/Fedex separately ? Pls. clarify?

In my case the SVO aske me to submit all documents in a envolop together with passport to VFS.

Hi Along Came Angel,

Think other way around....why can't we send our passport thru DHL/FedEx with all other docs? Because getting out and re-in the passports from/to Bangladesh require an approval from Ministry of Home Affairs of Bangladesh. You can acquire this approval/permission from Ministry of Home Affairs of Bangladesh and send your passport thru DHL/FedEx directly - there is NO harm [CIC won't take any responsibility if something bad happens]. Given that scenario, to provide some comfort for NOT taking this permission from Ministry of Home Affairs of Bangladesh for every individual separately and also mitigate the risk of transporting passports, CIC introduced VFS as our service provider for the transporting passports. VFS acquire the blanket approval [general approval] for all the passports they do carry.

That's why they don't carry other docs for us as like as the regular courier service. That's what I understood personally. Someone can come up with more clarifications. Hope this will address your concern.

Please read carefully of you MR request form and RPRF form.

In my letter below was writen:

"Wait Two weeks after completing your medical examination and all required lab tests, then submit all the documents in one envolope together with your passports to this office".

Issued another CSI on 5th Nov but no reply. I don't know what they are doing with my Med Exam doc.

I have completed my Med on 19th July and my new baby on 30th Sept. it is time to get PPR but they are not issuing this.

Can any one expert give any idea what is the condition?

don't worry, since you have a new born, it might cause a little bit delay
think of the bright side, and get prepared for landing in 2013
