I have received a feedback from sgvo today on a return email:
Your file is in the medical queue awaiting medical forms to be issued in the next 6 to 9 months. Please wait to receive request letter from this office.
So, do we still stand a chance of rejection, i have not received any MR since my status have changed into In Process in March.

Is there any chance of rejection at this stage? Do i have wait for 6 to 9 months from now onward?

Your file is in the medical que;meaning it has passed the review and everything related to it. One day when they have the time and other resources to issue the MR, they will do it. So, I think at this stage there is very little chance for you to lose. Inshallah, you will get your MR.

About the waiting time that they stated; this is a standard response that they send to all MI-1 applicants who made a Case Specific Enquiry to SGVO. Hopefully, it won't take that long as they will get the time and other resources to issue MR before then. That's what everyone is hoping and praying for.

Dear Khan Vai,
As per my opinion or experience, there is no chance for rejection at this stage.
They have already verified your file and now it is waiting for releasing MR.
Due to backlog, it is taking some extra time.
Hopefully rest of us will get MR within the shortest possible time InsAllah.
