I don't understand why people spend money on lawyer for immigration purposes specially for skilled worker. If the applicant can't apply by themselves, what are they going to do in Canada? Please don't be offended...try to understand the reality.

although it is possible to do it by oneself but still there can be many reasons for hiring a consultants

However, we are having an analysis depending upon the MR Recipient's credentials (e.g. App Date, 1st AOR Date, 2nd AOR Date etc.) you please reply with at least 2nd AOR date right now & gradually update your profile reflecting all significant dates. My 2nd AOR was on 14th March'12.
SVO sent me a letter (e-mail) for updated documents on 11th January'12.
Real In-process date was 19th April'12.
They sent back our photos like others and asked PCC; Fees; updated file and photos.
Actually still i did not see all the things.
Hope all u'll get ur MRs very soon.
I will update my profile within a very short time.

The fact is that most applicants CAN apply themselves still they take professional advice as no one wants to take risk. You can see several of our forum members' applications have been declined because of JD mismatch. Had these applicants taken service from a professional consultant, there would not have been refusal on JD ground for sure. Also, immigration laws are complex and change frequently, consequently most of the applicants do take assistance from immigration lawyers.

Reality myt not be the same for u & all bro. One big reason to hire a lawyer is they help u in writing a proper JD. First tym I applied was back in Nov '08 without any help of lawyer and my application was rejected cause unfortunately MI1 came into effect just after 10 days of my applicatiom filing date. I couldn't afford to make any mistake this tym cuz this is my last chance to be able to live with my big family living over there in Ca.
