i got my 2nd AOR letter through snail mail by SGVO. it was dated on November 28th, says that they receive my application of PR on 14th of November.

Dear admins plz update me

SGVO is back in action. BDimmigrants got his 2nd AOR dated Nov 28th.
it's a good sign. i have seen SGVO always send number of mails at a time. I believe SGVO issued some MR as well on NOV 28th.
so, keep in touch with your post office/post man

Can anyone please tell me what this "Applications received toward the overall cap: 5,011 of 10,000 as of December 8, 2011" means? My NOC (2121) says it has received 392 complete applications as of Dec 08. Does this mean this number only reflects the applications which reached the CIO months back and initially reviewed? (In that case my application sent yesterday would stand no chance to make inside the cap as I get it)

Or they make initial application completeness review faster and the number stated tries to reflect the current number of applications reached CIO somewhat?

no worries..you can make it.
the update indicates current number of COMPLETE applications received by CIO.
# complete application: all forms are correctly filled, signed and dated (where applicable) and there is no missing document

Recently people have seen Hike and fall of numbers of applicants in this list

This gives a clear idea that CIO first receives applications, update that table without reviewing anything inside the envelope; only by seeing the NOC. and then if any application is returned to the applicant, the number of total applications received in that table corresponding to each NOC's get reduced.

392 is a comfortable position. you will make it. Don't worry.

My NOC 3112. I got Visa. My Internship was considered as Job experience.

I guess Internship for doctors are different than those in other professions.
Bachelor degree holders do a 3-4 months long Internship in corporate environment ( obviously paid based), no way linked to their institutions where they studied but on the contrary doctors do a year long Internship within their medical institutions where I am not sure if they are paid.

Good that your Internship has been accepted although it was within your own institution.

Jnathan, MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS). In Bangladesh and many other countries, it is considered to be the equivalent form of Doctor of Medicine (MD), which I think you are more familiar with.

I think you talk too much without knowing anything. Please advise others after getting visa yourself. You said Don't write MBBS. i dont know what MBBS is in your country though. Write the full form. I wrote MBBS and nothing bad happened. You talk like a Canadian Immigrant Officer but you dont even know what anyone of this forum know. I am sorry to hurt you but I think you need a lesson.

What is wrong in saying someone to write the full form of anything?
That does not disregard the profession neither the professional.
Continuing such behavior being in Canada will surely put you into trouble. You're a doctor, so you should possess a good temperament. What I know has so far been well depicted in this forum. I am here to help and be helped.
