Hi! I would appreciate if somebody help me out, one of my known person trying to link up with his application to mycic online but unfortunately it shows no application has been found so unable to link up. Any of you have experienced like this, Pls. share & how to solve this.

Unfortunately, raising multiple CSE in this regard did not help me. Probably s/he is tad unlucky just as me.

After getting PR visa can I buy dollar from bank? if yes then what is the procedure and what is the limit of buying dollar from bank as according to PR rule someone has to carry $11,931 canadian dollar with him/her while landing.

What do you mean by few days back? Quickly look into your MyCIC account. There might be MR waiting for you. Did you really look into it properly? Usually MyCIC gets updated for MR/PPR or any PF request. Isti bhai, I recommend you to join our whatsapp group. PM me your number and I will add you.

Today i got mail stating that Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your account and check your application status and messages for more information. Bu my Ecas shows no update and I cannot link with mycic account. I received MR on May 19 and done my medical on May 30, 2016.
What should I do now?

Banks sell dollar 2 weeks prior to your travel. Only PR visa is not sufficient.

The quota is same for all. Total $7000. (Where 5000 in USD and rest 2000 equivalent other foreign currency (i.e CAD).

This is legal Quota per adult. For Child and infant its $3500. Rest you have to take illegally.

You may also opt for RFCD account. Please refer to bank website to know details about RFCD accounts.

Is there anyone who submitted their passport in the 1st week of July? I was wondering to know whether they received their passport or not. I have submitted my passport on 12th July and waiting to get it back. Do I have anything to be concerned?

congratulations Dr.hopeful.would you please tell me how long u had to wait to get PPR from medical received? I am eagerly waiting for PPR? No update yet.
