Can I Encash my SCB DD although i Didn't receive my Returned package yet? After talking to the CIC agent few weeks back, quite sure that my application is returning due to NOC cap is reached.. Now CAD rate is dropping day by day and already i guess more than 13000 BDT is lost due to the drop in exchange rate.. please let me know if it is ok to encash DD at this moment...

Hi Bro,

If you have your DD in your hand then you need to deposit it to the bank soon otherwise if CIC didn't encash your DD then on/after six months of time it will be automatically credited your account in the current exchange rate (may be CAD will drop more due to USD is getting stronger day by day and BDT is more stronger against USD)

Advice needed once again. I have paid my RFPR online (through a friend in Canada). The receipt was sent to my email. Now, shall I just take a printout of the receipt and send it to Canadian high commission in Singapore? Or is there any other documents which I should attach. I have already done the medical exam through Wahab's.

Another thing which worries me, is, that I cannot find any reference or Client ID on the receipt. How are they going to tag the payment to me?

I found from Global SS that you have sent your PCC with your application reason VO didn't ask you for your further PCC. Otherwise please let us know as it is not normal without PCC VO will not process your file in future....

PCC is police clearance certificate right? I have sent only mine, but did not send my wife's. Yet they have not asked me for her PCC while they sent the mail with MR and request for RPRF. Should I raise a query or wait for their communication?

Hi bro,

Yes PCC is Police Clearance Certificate...
NO you don't need to wait for their response.
Better you can send your spouse PCC along with RPRF and meantime you can raise CSE.

Yes, you should update VO about this changes.
No body knows that VO can check background after MR issue.

Hi Bro,

Yes you are right that there is no any doubt that you can carry your travel quota in a year but I am in doubt that amount will not fulfill your POF or survival in Canada in one year other than you have close relative or you have job offer.

Then question was raised how you can show your POF equivalent to Canada immigration officer though there is restriction from Bangladesh Bank. Is there any obligation to CA immigration officer if you carry less amount of POF during your first entry to Canada??


[POF is not mandatory while you arrive in Canadian airport, to the best of my knowledge. Say, your family size is 4= 2 nos adult and 2nos children. then your POF is 22K, but you can carry only 15k (2 adult x 5k=10k and 2chieldren x 2.5k {50%}=5k] as per BB rule. So just carry 15k. No problem. If you want more money to carry that is illegal. But just yesterday I hard that, BB have an option for PR, but very difficult n not clear to me.] thnx
