Y You have stated your marriage date as DD MM YYYY. Your Marriage Certificate states that your marriage was
registered on DD MM YYYY. Your Nikah Nama states marriage contracted DD MM YYYY and registered DD MM YYYY. Please advise actual date marriage ceremony commenced. Also, please provide proof of your relationship.

What did they mean by that? What related docs did you submitted related to marriage? In which form did you mention the marriage date?

Dear All,
My questions:

1. Which proof of relationship should I have submit? Photos only?

3. Bank Statements: I didnt send the statement when applied. I showed my POF in different bank A/C instead of my salary account.

Should I have to submit both A/C statements?


I am so tensed as my POF A/C has less money. :'( :'( :'( :'(

I dont know what to do..

First of all is there any mismatch bet ur marriage cert and nikahnama?

1.Yes try to give photo for all of the ceremony of u and ur spouses like gaye Holud/engagement ceremony...Even for honeymoon.

If u there is joint account/ any bank account on which u have selected ur spouse as nominee....These are also strong doc....for proving relationship.

Apart from this does ur spouse's PP contains ur name ? Then U can also mention that...


2. Show all of the account on which money exists.... .Try to fill ur amount...

Also why haven't you give your salary account's info? Have you shown your wife's account information in regards to your POF? Not showing salary account is not good, as you might get a hard time now explaining where other accounts getting money from.
Did you submitted pay slip with the application?

You will get those option when you became a Member from Newbie. To become member you need to post at least 15-20 post.

I got AOR today. Since I resigned my previous job and joined a new one this January, I guess I need to inform SGVO through the CSE link they gave in the AOR mail. I am sending/uploading a cover letter explaining the situation, a letter from my new employer, scan copy of ID card, appointment letter.
Is it enough? or do I need anything else?
Please suggestions are needed.

I submitted payslips, salary certificates of several years with all deductions(TAX, PF etc).

In salary certificate and payslip the A/C no. and bank name also mentioned

-Only one word is wrong "contracted" which should be "contacted". For marriage both family contacted each other and finalize the date of ceremony.

-I will give the photos of reception and marriage ceremony

-Dont have the spouse name in my passport and also wife's passport as both are made before marriage.

-My wife is the nominee of my A/C which I showed for POF

2. I will show my SCB A/C(Salary A/C) and other A/C where POF was kept.

But Which explanation I should give them..

Hi Rumel Bhai,

Don't worry, just keep calm and find out the way to prove your marriage certificate.

Ashif bhai explained you very clearly and hope it will work with you.

I am not sure either it will work for you or not from below points -

1. Manage an affidavit against your marriage certificate from court as original.
2. Take another copy from Kazi office as a original.
3. If your spouse work any company then you can collect job experience certificate with your name as a spouse.
4. Find out some of your family picture with your father, mother .... and explain in cover letter with their name and relation with you and your spouse.
5. Any fund/bond/account nomination either you or your spouse.

I hope above all will support proof of your marriage to VO.

For POF -

Make sure you need to send your bank statement at least last ten months from same bank account which you have submitted of Band certificate. If you didn't have enough amount to keep in that account, try to provide your another bank account which you are continuing at least more than 10 months and collect a statement at least 10 months time. Also you could provide your spouse bank/bond/savings certificate and that could be more strong of your POF.

Question on Passport renewal:

I have MRP passport which is going to expire on 14th December 2015. I want to renew it for the next five years. In application form, I saw there is a field where it is mentioned New/Re-Issue. My question is, will they give me a new passport for renewal or they will ask for my existing passport to stamp on it with extension.

Anyone has any idea? Please respond.
