NOC - 0112
Appl. rcvd date - 08-Oct.
DD Encased date - 22-Dec.

I have been watching this forum for quite a while. The forum has been really helpful in distributing useful information for the expectant immigrants.
I have already created entries in the FSWP 2014 sheet. Can we have a group here who have already got their Visa and landed or intending to land.

We can take full cash USD 3000 + CAD 4697.80 (equivalent to 4000 USD as per today's rate). Only we need to endorse both currency in the said amount.

From my personal experience on abroad travel in many time I never every checked by anybody in the airport for counting my cash carry though I didn't take too much money in each time.

Every year I have endorsed my passport with highest travel quota by Credit Card issuing bank and also I carried cash because the quota from Credit Card couldn't meet my expense in a year.

So in this point my understanding is those who are going to Canada for settlement (PR) that could be considerable to carry the highest level of travel quota by USD or any foreign currency because you are will return country soon. And this is not your illegal money to carry and you and your family needs to survive with that money over Canada.

SO option could be to carry credit card by endorsing of USD7K and carry the cash as much as you can with confidently which you need to show in the Canada immigration. But you can use your credit card first to spend whole amount of your travel quota endorsed by bank because that amount can check by bank or authority. Most of the bank are now online payment procedure so anybody from Bangladesh can also repayment your cost by Credit Card.

I hope this will help you to relax on your expense reimburse during your unemployment time or first couple of months.

Its now 3.5 + months since my file is being transferred to SGVO..but still no updates....
