Dear forum members,

can anyone tell me,Does Port entry officer will accept two bank draft(each Appro 7000usd)issued by HSBC Bangladesh as proof of find and is it will be accepted in Canadian banks??i am opting this method as i don't want to carry cash with me,please help

If HSBC issues it i don't see any problem & when you issue the draft pls make sure that you will be able to encash it at any branch of the bank that HSBC is giving clearance.

CIC instructed to carry money in following ways -

**cash
**documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.) or
**documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers' drafts, cheques, travellers' cheques or money orders).

So there wouldn't be any problem. but the question is.. should HSBC issue DD of USD14,000..?? Did you talk to HSBC regarding this issue..??

Yes each individual traveller is allowed to take one bank draft and limit is 7000usd per person

my final destination in Canada is calgary,alberta but i bought a ticket which will go upto toronto,there is no flight for calgary,alberta on that night,so now my question is do i have to stay in toronto airport that night or can i go outside and stay in my aunt's house for that night and take a flight for Calgary next day??

It means PARTY $$$$$$$$$ It means you are issued PER. They already send you PER. Check your inbox, junk, spam all. And do also check whether you gave the correct email in the generic form. SOOOOO many applicant put their email id wrong and for this they missed PER mail. But as you can see your E-CAS then don't worry. Start party. Congrats....

You can land anywhere & stay anywhere in Canada except Quebec.

Brother,

After successful charging CIC issues Positive Determination Of Eligibility Review. That we forumites call PER. After issuing this they update the E-CAS. So don't listen to those who doesn't know anything. And there is a chance of rejection even after this. Some incident happened like this. But that was the mistake of CIC. But i don't think you need to worry about this. Cheers.

I am a 14th May Applicant, Received my AOR on 26th September. Still didnt get any 2nd line updates nor MR.
