Hi seniors, i am going to send my application tomorrow under NOC 0113. Have u guys noticed about the new Generic application form? there is option to select visa office for the respective country. Should i use the new updated form or the previous one?

In additional family information- there is written all name should be written in English & native language. There is no extra option to write names in native language like background declaration. Should i include an additional page and write the names by hand?

Another question- in documentation checklist there is written that i have to include copies of passport page showing passport number, photo etc. I have the tourist visa of India which showing my photo and my name in the visa. Should i include the copies of those visa page? There are also Thailand & Nepal visa in my passport, but these visa dont have any photographs.

Please, need ur help.....

Dear Experts,

I have worked in Nigeria, Egypt and Afghanistan within 2009-2012. Every time I travelled to those countries and stayed less than 6 months. None of my stay is continuous, But my total stay in each country is Nigeria (1 year), Egypt (10 months) and Afghanistan (1 yr 4 months).

In this scenario, Do I need to fill [12] (a) Previous Countries of Residence of IMM 0008 (Generic Application form for Canada)?

I am really confused. if I add those information as a continuous, I might need to submit PCC, which will be a problem for me, as some of the countries doesn't have embassies in Bangladesh.

I'll definitely add all information in Travel information, but want to skip in IMM 0008 (Generic Application form for Canada). Please suggest, as I am going submit my package by 22-Dec for the NOC 2172.

Another thing is My 2nd child born in 1st Dec 2014. I am going to get her birth certificate tomorrow. In this case, I can't arrange her password with my application package, which I will submit by 22-Dec Insaallah. What should I write in the compensating letter. Please suggest!

Regards.

Dear Hasan..

CIC is clear cut about their info. Ofcourse you have to provide all details regarding your residence in other countries.

PCC will only be required if you had lived in those countries for consecutive/continuous SIX months. As you did not stay consecutively for SIX months then you don't need to provide PCC.

Don't withheld or mispresent any information. CIC will fnd it. And in that case they will give 10 year ban.

So, be careful.

And please read the instruction guide and CIC website thoroughly.

Thanks Raisa Apu, Can you help me to fill the information for [12]. For example, I have travelled thrice to Nigeria. Should I fill total or segregated by each stay. If I add different row for each travel, then the each stay will be less than 6 months. I am confused here.

[12] Previous Countries of Residence

Format 1: (Total)
Country Status Other From To
(YYYY-MM-DD) (YYYY-MM-DD)
Nigeria Worker --- 2009-07-06 2010-06-11

Format 2: (segregated with each trip/stay)
Country Status Other From To
(YYYY-MM-DD) (YYYY-MM-DD)
Nigeria Worker --- 2009-07-06 2009-11-11
Nigeria Worker --- 2010-01-05 2010-02-26
Nigeria Worker --- 2010-04-03 2010-06-10

Please suggest.

Yes it has to be segregated. And it has to be without any gap in timeline. For example, if you travel Nigeria first, South Africa second again Nigeria then Afghanistan again Nigeria your history will be in that order. I hope you undrstand.

And don't miss anything in the Generic Form. Be careful.

In the new Generic Form you don't need to select any VO. CIC will assign it.

You don't need to write Native Language. Just put N/A.

You have to show only your passport page that contains your picture & info. Not the visa page. Don't give any extra docs that CIC didn't ask for.

I hope you understand.

And hurry up. The deadline for FSWP is 31 Dec 2014. Before you apply pls check the below update information of CIC.......
