Does anyone have any idea, is it possible to query to SCB bank whether my DD is charged or not? If yes - what is the process?

Apuu,

1. Its very random and the % is very small....
2. Verification is done usually over email or the phone number provided on the ref letter....physical verification are very very uncommon....

And I'll one of those random luckiest applicant who'll either be verified or called for interview.... 99.999% confirm about that.... :'( :'( :'(

Bhaiya its not possible to get this info from SCB... I also tried but failed... but if you have any close known person in Forex dept... it may be possible to know the date of encashment....

Here comes another question relevant to this. My supervisor will travel to US for one month. What if the query comes at that time? I mean through telephone? I am the second in command, shall i answer the phone?

Yes it's possible to know whether provided DD been encashed or not.

You can go to the respective branch (from where you did the DD) and place the copy of DD to check. Then they may take some time or they may take 1 or 2 days more to give the information. In that case they will inform you through call.

I used my network of friends. I gave one of them my DD number with Date. But Another informed me that i cud hv done this through the Gulshan SCB from where i made the DD.

I tried to check using this way and they informed me the date when it was actually prepared... ;D ;D ;D Even one of my previous colleague (current SCB staff) who applied 14th May 2014, couldn't get the exact information of his DD...
