Pretty much the same

People who got their status to IN PROCESS for over 3+ months, they will most likely to get their MR, you should know that one of the members from this forum mailed to CHC London/Abidjan/Buffalo; cant remember, and the reply was that " we have requested your MR to be sent but the Medical section has informed us (CHC) that the quota for sending medical for a stipulated time ( probably an year) is full, so we cant send it now "

in the whole year of 2009 and 2010, people used to get MR in 3 weeks time of seeing their Ecas as IN PROCESS. now people are waiting for 6-8 months now. Only god knows what is on CIC's mind. cant say anything exactly before the election. they are tensed now. economy isnt moving there.

Thanks guys and gals for the posts. The same pain we are going thru...Even I heard the same infos, especially regarding visa office's waiting for new declaration by newly elected govt.

Let's not lose hope...goodluck

Congrats to you and your spouse. Hopefully, you will do your babay's passport and all the necessary docs and then get visa asap.

Dear Friends with NOC 1111 and 0111 be attentive. I think this NOC has been put on lower proirity as compared to other NOCs like 44** and 3*** etc. Finance and Accounts applicants in this forum are requested to comment please.

Congrats dear....many many congrats to u and ur wife.

Shldnt get frustrated as the year just commenced..... rather i think there is a good chance for all of us. SG wont approve any visas only if there is some critical issues like points claimed for relatives or suspicious docs or a suspicious background details. My observation is saying none got MR request who placed their initial application in March-May 2010. But a number of people got their ecas changed into in process. And more likely once it is in "in process" status, it will take max 4 months to get mr and another two months to get ppr and one month to get the pp returned by the VO. Yesterday i went through with the other forums and all of them are facing the same. so there is a big chance.

But obviously it is frustrating for NOC 0111 or 1111 as all missions are very conservative about these two NOCs. Before the election took place, all missions will issues a number of visas as their KPI will be reflected by the outcomes. Thats a challenge by the current govt as well. so election wont result any drawbacks. The policy will remain same as it was before. the policy always determined by the senate and house of law. rather the next govt or whatsoever will raise questions about the backlogs. so the missions are on their way to cover up the performance and minimize the backlogs.

Now frm Jan 2011 till Apr 2011 only 128 visas were granted through SG VO meaning around 32 visas in a month. Their target is to issue at least 90 visas per month and where they are in shortfalls. So better chances for better applications is here. I am not trying to disappoint any of the forum members rather I am optimistic. Good luck to you all..... friends...... May Allah help us all.

good post..+1 for you

S_Haque

going through thousands of posts in other threads is time consuming and what you did is appreciable.

in the AOR's CHC Singapore infored everyone that Visas would be issued on priority basis but they never mentions what the priorities would be; my guess is : areas where Canada has shortage of skilled people, more IELTS scorers, genuine and solid PoF. currently its clear that 0213, Teachers, finance and accounting people are not welcomed as they were in 2009-2010. I wish there was a data or picture which could say how many migrants and of which NOC's are doing what after they migrated to Canada. this is for sure that the situation is shocking as Canadians dont hire people in white collar jobs without seeing any Canadian degrees in applicants. so the situation is understandable.

morever, Canada needed more money to be injected into their economy from these migrating people in 2009-2010 so they issued highest number of visas during that time. what haque said was right. their decisions do not change that much when the election is over. if CHC's around the world can stop issuing MR's and visas for the time being, then they can speed up the process anytime of issuing them once again in full swing.

Now frm Jan 2011 till Apr 2011 only 128 visas were granted through SG VO meaning around 32 visas in a month. Their target is to issue at least 90 visas per month and where they are in shortfalls.

Any source Haque? I can believe in words of mouth though.

Points claimed for relatives is one of the most liked ways by CIC as they believe that faster chances are more for migrants to get jobs and economically established if the migrants have financially well established relatives in Canada. At the same time, there is no reason to think 100% that an applicant wouldnt be successful in Canada without taking help from relatives if there is any.

Again, we'll have to abide by their decisions, not ours.

NGE or Rafin has BF'd in 2013. if CIC gives priority to Post June 2010 applicants then we the pre June 2010 applicants would be like Simplified applicants prior to our applications, and the Pre Simplified applicants would be in the graves and angels would be hired to convey their MR's and RPRF requests. coz some of them are waiting for 5-6 yrs now.
