Hi All,

This may totally be irrelevant to this forum topic which is primarily focused on Immigration as a FSW from BD. Well, I've recently applied for PR in Ontario PNP stream. While my wife and I wait for our immigration, I want my wife (who is in BD) to apply for a visitor visa (TRV). I know that this is hard (as she tried last year and was rejected) and I've been trying to gather some useful info from this forum.

VFS-Bangladesh has the checklist regarding what to submit for a TRV; yet I need someone here who has tried to get a TRV as a spouse from BD while his/her better half works/studies in Canada. This is not Family Class Sponsorship as I'm not a PR in Canada; rather I am working (with work permit) after my graduation here.

I will also appreciate if you know a lawyer/immigration consultant either in Canada or BD who deals with this kind of application.

Thanks.

Oh great. But how come you applied so early for new scheme? Anyway, good to have someone under same NOC along with me.

if the vo does not have much queries then i am expecting med req in 3/4 months time. otherwise it might take longer. i am thing about a general timeline which is- the whole process for bd applicants is taking 8months to 12months. so we started in june last year and hopefully it would complete by coming june.

thanks

Zaman,

NO, not the way you thought it would be.
CHC Singapore is already flooded with old backlogs and everyday new files are being accumulated for processing. Pre 2009 applicants are yet to get their call.

Amazing !

Not a single post for the last 2 days.

Haha, well most of us are WAITING! for a response from CIC ;)

Sent my full documents to Singapore VO and DHL track showed that reached on 30 Nov. Still no response from them. Whats the normal time limit for a simple response that if they got it? Anyone?

They will acknowledge it soon, it will show up on your eCAS. The eCAS only updates 1ce a week, sometimes they skip it and you get to know after 2 weeks.

@Classical_beat, are you waiting for your med's too? I am on processing from Nov. 29th, needed to be reassured that there are a few others like me too, pankajk is also on the same boat.
