Dear All,
By the grace of the all mighty I have received PPR today by e-mail but the story is a bit different.

SGVO sent the PPR by e-mail on 29.08.2012 but I didn't receive any e-mail from them.

On 05.09.2012 I made a CSE but didn't receive any reply but their e-mail history says they replied on 06.09.2012.

There is fault from SGVO, I didn't receive all those e-mails because my e-mail account was hacked on 27.08.2012 & all e-mails in my account were deleted. Though I took action to restore my account on 29.08.2012 but some how missed their e-mail of 06.09.2012, don't know why?

Today I sent another CSE & a general query as well, they replied with all those e-mails within 2.5hrs of my query.

Already one month gone, hope to submit PP tomorrow morning. Please pray for me so that it is done within 60days as specified in their records.

I just want to share my job hunting experience here in Canada.

We landed on July 2012 and luckily, I got a job offer 3 weeks after. I started searching for jobs when I was still in the Philippines. I applied online and sent in a multitude of applications to various companies. When I got here, I had been busy with interviews, both phone and in-person. I also had my share of rejections, of course. That is normal for any job applicant in any country at that. But the good thing is that I am able to land a job in the same industry I was on back home.

It was definitely nerve wrecking during the days I was looking for a job. But thank goodness, the days of waiting for an employer to offer me a job is finally over!

All received Maple Leaf visa should start searching jobs online. First please make a cv in Canadian way, not our deshi way !!
A good cv really helps to find a job because first impression is the best impression. You will find in net how to make a resume.

Dear Forum Members, I read a few publications & news letters basically of different law firms & in nowhere I found that new point system will be applicable to existing backlog! Moreover we didn't see any hault in issuing PPR & visa. Even MR is being issued by different visa offices (though SVO is in a temporary hibernation). Everyday they are replying our CSI by saying that we are in med queue. They wouldn't have replied this way in case they were instructed to recalculate & revisit all the application. :/
