I have following question regarding the MyCIC profile.
1) Under Occupation category there is a question which goes like this "Date xxxxxxx first became qualified to practice in this occupation"
I have done MSc from USA 2008, and BE from India in 2002. So do I need to enter the date when I first graduated? i.e. B.E. completion date 2002 or MSc completion date? I am not sure about this, anyone who have filled and filed the profile please help me regarding this.

2) Also, I have a 7months old daughter, and I have mentioned in the section where it asks how many family members including yourself intends to visit Canada, but no where in the profile it asks me to enter details about my daughter. Where do I need to enter details about dependent child?

3) Is it advisable to try to get job first and then apply in EE? As of now I don't have any job offer from Canadian company. Is it possible to get job offers while I am in India? Also, is the Provincial Nomination independent of EE or both of these are interlinked, i.e. is it possible for me to file for Provincial Nomination along with EE or should I first file for Provincial Nomination and if I receive a nomination letter then I should apply and submit my profile for EE?

and in the second stage of registration i have been asked for "Social Insurance Number
and certainly i dont have that so wat do do now .
Plz help who so ever have already registered them selves with job pool

Hi All,
I have one question regarding the Education qualification.
my PG Diploma is of 1.5 years but in the EE form it does not allow entering fraction values. so should i enter just 1 or 2. or will that details be picked up from the WES report no which i have already entered.
Another thing is that i have added my wife as accompanying me but i dont want to use her points for the education ( as i will have to get WES done for her also which i dont want). in that case will i get education points only for me as single applicant or as applicant with spouse ?
she has IELTS report but score is not so great so should i still use that or mark it as not given ielts and just use my points.

In short i want to know that if we add spouse can i still claim points just as individual only ?

Hi - At the top right of screen you will find an option something "Not resident of Canada" Click on that and provide your details. It will guide you from there.

I think you are short somewhere. you should have 67 points like before then only you can join the pool.
Can you share your ILETS score, work exp and age points etc?

I did the questionaire and it said I was eligible. I suspect the document IDs I entered could be wrong somehow.

My age is 33 and IELTS score of L:8.5,R:7.5,W:7.5,S:6.0. I have got more than 5 years experience.
