I have applied to NS on 2nd December under 0213 and am preparing and collecting all documents. It is long road ahead and tedious work before COPR happens. But the actual fight will start after the landing. All of us who qualify for 0213 have some experience under our belt and in most cases decent Indian salary and job role. When we land there we will have no Canadian experience and education to back our selves and will be in a tough situation. We should start preparing ourselves for job readiness from now on if we want to reduce our struggles after landing.

I can start sharing some of things that I am doing to be job ready as more people join the thread. We are all together in this can help each other to achieve our goals faster.

You need atleast 1 year in 0213 and rest 3 years expereince can be in category 0, A or B.

The first digit of the NOC code identifies the Skill Type of an occupation.
•1 corresponds to Skill Level A
•2 or 3 correspond to Skill Level B
•4 or 5 correspond to Skill Level C
•6 corresponds to Skill Level D
Skill Level A represents occupations usually requiring university education. Skill Level B refers to occupations usually requiring college education or apprenticeship training.

To have more information on category 0, A or B please read
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/FAQ.aspx
If you have total 4 years of experience including one in 0213 and 3 in any occupation belonging to 0, A or B then you can calculate 21 points. 2281 experience will be counted

I am also 0213, currently preparing my full application. Can some one please share some points that one should consider while making his/her experience letter. I have 14 months of experience as a team lead.

What I did was I requested all my previous employers to issue me the experience/ reference letter in advance. I requested my reporting managers to consider the requirements mentioned under each NOC code that I have applied for. Since I had similar responsibilities as mentioned in NOC code, it was no problem to get the letters from all employers.

I think you must share your requirements with all your current/past reporting managers and if they approve you can get the required reference letters from you HR

Thanks Ankit,

Appreciated!! i am relax now i have got two senior's advise .thanks a lot. now i wud like to know the best move towards application, like after submission of application how long they gonna ask for further documents i am applying from london,.
