Employers typically aren't interested until you've arrived in Canada. You can apply for jobs to feel out the job market and see if you're getting positive feedback. I might do the same before I land.
Thank you YamPower.
I understand what you mean. Employers cannot depend on the outcomes and case by case unique timelines of the CIC. I guess I am better off moving back to asia and look for part time work in asia while I wait for CIC outcome. :)

Did India66 had any Document requests?

He never mentioned it. He is not so active in posting. Maybe he has got his PPR already? Also I see the spreadsheet is only updated to 30 July.

Even I don't see his posts. Point is Shirebikes got PPR on 105th day as a FSW and most CEC have got it post 100 days or close. Even if we consider July 1st week as 'No work week', because of Canada Day celebrations and then add this time to 100 days benchmark, it comes to around 105 days to PPR.

So I think this week should do for most of us. I hope CIC realises that delaying would only increase their back logs.

Agree, with the election coming, CIC should give good enough progress for all the backlog applications. But the catch is that, when we say "most", the statistic tells us there were only 655 cases approved as of 6 July and let's add some more for the rest of July, that can more or less make up to a thousand in total dare I say? So we don't know what is going on for, say, Jan and Feb ITAs, there must be many having crossed the 100 day mark but being silent?

But, on the other hand, for outlanders, since outlanders must have started getting their ITAs after March draw the earliest, so the April stats kindly gathered by Kayden could be a good reference at least for outlanders.

All references are very mixed, but overall the trend should be favoring us. They can only speed UP...

+1 for this week ;D

But reading this gives me a more realistic picture.
www(dot)cic.gc.ca/english/resources/reports/ee-midyear-2015.asp

This is one of the opening statements in this report "During this initial start-up period, it is expected that the majority of admissions in 2015 are likely to come from applications submitted before January 1, 2015, i.e. not through Express Entry"

Some preliminary data analysis tells me that having 450+ points makes the candidate among the top 10-20% ile. The approval rates however are more skewed towards in-landers also 85% of all invitations so far were given to candidates living in Canada which makes out-landers a minority.
As of now CIC has 7528 applications for PR and there have been only 655 approvals and still 5835 'In progress' that is only about 10% progress. Based on these facts I predict PPR/PR for outlanders in 450 point range in early - mid 2016, or may be even later. :(

Sorry but CIC's only Public KPI that they are being measured against is completion of 80% of the cases within 6 months.

Well, over 85% of the ITAs are in-landers. This means that CIC might as well be on target and exceed it slightly. 8)

The 6-month period of processing is not binding. Just look at the numbers. 5000+ in process and only 600 done so far. Even if 500 processed a week(over optimistically), its anytime between now and next 10 months. ::)
