Hopefully you can provide me with some advice!
I received a NOI from Alberta last year (NOC 2253). At the start of November I submitted my profile with them having supplied all the relevant information, documents and paid the fee.
Before Christmas my profile was being processed and I had a few correspondence with someone from Alberta regarding an email address for a reference I had provided.
On January 4th 2022 my express entry profile expired. I submitted a new profile on January 5th and sent the guy I had been dealing with from Alberta the information regarding my new profile. From what I had read on another forum I was under the impression they would be able to transfer the PNP application to my new profile.
Yesterday I received an email from the Alberta contact stating I would need to withdraw my PNP application and wait for another NOI on my new express entry profile.
Is this correct? It seems crazy that I have to wait for another NOI on my new profile, which may never happen, when nothing has changed between the two profiles. Especially as I have provided all the correct information and paid the $500 which I will need to pay again!
