Hi Guys,

My brother submitted his application online last September 2024. When I checked this page,

The ALBERTA OPPORTUNITY STREAM is currently assessing applications on or before NOVEMBER 13, 2024.

Does the IRCC send emails about the status or anything about the application? He hasn't received anything until now.

Do we need to do anything?

What do they send? Mail or Email? Would they also notify the applicants regardless of the outcome? Like for example, if they were invited or not invited?

Should get notified once application has selected and processing has been started. You can always follow-up for clarification.

Would they also notify the applicants if they were not selected? Its hard not knowing your status.

Just want to bump this thread up.

Will IRCC notify us regarding the status of the application even if not selected? Checked the current numbers and it shows that there's only 969 applications to be processed and yet my brother hasn't received any update yet. He submitted his application online early October of 2024. What do you guys suggest us to do? Thanks

AOS says they are currently assessing applications received on or before: December 2, 2024.

So "on or before" which is September so still being processed. Send an email or call. Google is your friend.
