hello,

will alberta allow health coverage for a pr who already has a health card from ontario but left ontario after 4 months of staying and move back to their country and again enter canada but this time will stay in canada. will they approve? please help thanks

They rule of thumb for residing somewhere tends to be 6 months a year so if it's more than 6 months since he left Ontario, they will most likely treat him as a returning resident and give him first day health care as opposed to a person moving to AB from Ontario who would have a waiting period.

However, if you want to make sure, you can call AB health at 00-1-780-427-1432 and ask.
