How fast is the processing in Alberta?

Alberta has the slowest processing time in all the country

Honest answer is no body knows given the new processing.

Anyone applied prior to July 2014 will have to wait surely for 18 months, if its routine application. Non routine = 3 years?

Applicants post July 2014, are finding their files transferred to local alberta offices within 3-4 months. Now the transferring part is done by Sydney and it is universal irrespective of which province you are at. What differs is that Ontario, Vancouver and Montreal offices move the files in-real-time on receipt from Sydney. Another 3 months and you are done.
Whereas Alberta offices are yet to do that. Remember Alberta applicants from Oct 2013 are just now getting their test invites.

I don't think they will parallel process before they clear the backlog majorly. So any alberta applicant "post July 2015" will enjoy the same speed as Ontario applicants. So apply today, and luckily you will have oath by December 2015.

file transferred to Calgary office in march 2014
i received rq in march and i sent it in April 2014

when i was visiting my home home country after i applied my file to citizenship, i lost all of my documents in my home country and i came back with travel document.after that they sent me rq but unfortunately i lost all of my documents in my home country, is that could cause any delay in my processing time especially i lost my home country passport with stamps . please i need u answer me
